We live in Utah so I thought my 8-year-old would enjoy a book with facts about his state. I liked that it had pictures for all the main facts.

It starts with a map and facts about Utah (capital city, size, location, population, statehood, crops, etc).

It talks about how the state got the nickname "The Beehive State", the state seal, motto, capital, flag, bird, tree, flower, and animal.

It briefly mentions some other state symbols like the state cooking pot, fossil, grass, insect, centennial star, and a few places like Bryce Canyon, Dinosaur National Monument and the Great Salt Lake.
