I’m done reading my first book of the year and I’m glad I did. This is a non-fiction read and told from the eyes of Mathew Knowles and other people who worked with Destiny Child to blossom their young lives as well as their careers (both as a group & solo) as the girls from Houston.
The book documented their lives as young girls from Houston especially their daily schedules in getting where they pushed the group to and then, Destiny Fulfilled. And Mathew alongside other folks (employees) corroborated how Beyoncé has always been the star of the group. And how she had always been a gifted child who only needed an avenue to work more on her career to become what she is, currently.
The book documented their discovery, Beyoncé with her numerous awards in Houston as a child who participated in different beauty contest competitions where she had always won, becoming Destiny Child, their solo career, and finally their last album.
The passion, the dedication, and what it had always taken for Beyoncé to become what she is. How it takes a level of intelligence and dedication to always come at the top everywhere she finds herself and how introverted nature is just a limiting factor to a “minute part” of ourselves not entirely in our crafts.
Could I ever write an Autobiography, a story of American success: Corporations, business, music: That I would tell about my little girl and her little Friends: Destiny's Child: A Disguise of my ambitions, my failures, my dreams, and visions.
I was called a liar many time, and told that I was not a good man, a molester of my own daughter. Mathew Knowles the man: Broken after years of trying to be One with the industry that destroyed his Family: His marriage to Tina Knowles, his relationship with younger daughter Solange and most of all the Prize Beyoncé!
A Professor, an A & R Man, a black man in America who is broken by the system and that broke his family's reputation. A Man was cheated in everyway by a System that is into light skinned Singers and women who have very little to offer otherthan power to others.
He is now honest and caring about other people's feelings, he contributes and is very sad about his past. I am in music and I know the illusion of wealth and fame and power.
