Ellie and Russell are going to Florida to visit nana for Christmas but murder and a snow storm change the plan. Ellie uncovers the truth and arrest of the killer. They make it to Florida.
I would recommend this series and author to readers of romantic family and friends relationship adventure mystery novels 👮👩🍳 2025 🌆👩❤️💋👩
Wow! This book felt so real, like I was actually living it! A large snowstorm, high winds, power outages. I got up to let my fur baby out during the night, and told him to hurry up, it was too cold outside. Decided I was hungry and went to put some leftover pizza in the microwave and wondered if the power was back on! This book hit me like no other!
I love this series. Ellie and her husband are flying to visit Nonna for Christmas in Florida when a storm hits and the airport closes looks like they will see snow rather than beaches. Add in a body and no way can they leave. I love Ellie as a main character and would love to go and spend some eating pizza and hanging out at the pizzeria. I love all the side characters and this a fast feel good book.
10++ stars!! Ellie can be at the right place at the wrong. She was so happy to be going to Florida to spend Christmas with her grandmother, finally was able to have Russell to get the time off to go with her. Then it happens, finishing last minute things and the town has a big snow storm and the power went down all over the town and the police station. Every one is struggling until the power was being repaired, and Ellie has to go to the pizzeria to see about her food so she saves alot but gives the rest to the community center for people who are greatly struggling to find a warm place to stay until the storm pasts. As she and Russell pull into the station there is a problem in the parking lot. Christmas plans cancelled airport closed. Then another snow storm hits. Now YOU have to read to find out the rest. You won't be disappointed!!!!
In this latest book, nothing goes as planned for Ellie. This time though it's not just murder, the weather is stirring up trouble in Kittiport too. I love how Ellie finds herself in the middle of a murder without even trying, she just seems like a magnet for it. No matter what happens, things always seem to work out until she finds herself in the middle of another investigation. Another nice thing about this book as well as the others in the series, is how everyone always works together to help each other. The book finished off with a happy feeling as Ellie and Russell finally get to enjoy Christmas even if it's a little late.
Just in time for the holidays and winter weather comes the latest in this great series. This is a wonderful addition to the series centered on Ellie, Russ, Shannon, and James with the type of storyline you expect from a great writer like Patti Benning.
Ellie and Russ were planning Christmas in Florida with Nonna. But there’s a huge snowstorm that shuts down the airport, the entire town losses power, and there’s a dead body in the police station parking lot. Plans change and a killer must be found.
Christmas time is here, and one more day they leave to have Christmas with Nonona. But a blizzard, a murder and another storm coming through they may not get to leave home!
