This was a fantastic book for modeling clipper ships. I was looking more for the practical aspects of ship rigging, which it provided in abundance. The book- not just establishing and describing rigs, also studies rigging in a systematic way, and goes a long way to clarifying the tangle of lines and sheets that confront the average lubber.
