40 Fabulous Afghans
It's no surprise that afghans rank among crocherers' favorite projects. They provide warmth and comfort on chilly days. Draped over the back of a sofa or folded at the foot of a bed, they add a delightful decorative touch to your home. And they make wonderful, personalized gifts for any occasion. What better way to pay tribute to the enduring popularity of crocheted afghans than with a book of 40 outstanding projects!
In 40 Fabulous Afghans, you'll find an enchanting array of afghan styles in a full palette of colors. Here's a sample of some of the inviting projects:
Charming, old-fashioned afghans inspired by America's favorite quilt motifs, including the playful Crazy Quilt and the versatile Log Cabin.
Early-American-style gems reminiscent of days long past, such as the homespun Ticking Stripe and the winsome Calico.
Elegant geometric designs, such as the distinctive Diamond and the Ripple, with its characteristic waves of color.
Fresh, lively throws for infants and children, including the high-spirited Pinwheels and the delicate, endearing Baby Floral.

This is one of my oldie but goodie books; I'm surprised to even find it listed here. I've been making these afghans for ages and we still choose them for more. A real favorite!
