Linnea West's book, Making A List, Fixing It Nice, is a one sitting read. (Be warned that it ends on a cliff hanger as an intro to the next book.) The elves are busy getting everything ready for Christmas Eve. Cordelia Claus and her best friend, Head Elf--Clarence, are checking things off the to-do-list when they discover that someone tampered with the Naughty and Nice List. All of the children are now listed as nice! The List needs to be fixed so that Santa has the correct amount of presents to deliver. Cordelia and Clarence try to figure out the mystery without involving Santa. This is a cute story to enjoy around the holidays.

This was a novella, so it was a quick read, easy to finish in one sitting. Fun escape for the season, but it does end with a cliffhanger.

Crunch time, lists & catastrophes

Its crunch time at the North Pole, the reindeer are demanding Santas time,
elves need him in the toy factory, which is running 24/7 around the clock.
Mrs Clause is running crazy trying to get things done and under control. Getting ready for Christmas eve, every one is exhausted and nerves are on
edge ready to explode. There's no time to waste, no mistakes can be made
now,....then the most unthinkable catastrophe happens. The great book of
Names is all mest up. Could some one have sabotaged the great book of lists?
How could the Keeper of the List have let this happen? Now can mrs. Clause,
Clarence, and Leon find out who it was, better yet how was it done, and can they fix it back to being right? All be for setanta Clause finds out? Read this cut
and intriguing Christmas North Pole mystery. That's full of the true meaning of
Christmas spirit, Love, Friendship, Trust, and most of all Forgivenes. I can't wait
till the next book comes out to read it.

Making a List, Fixing It Nice by Linnea West is part of the "Mrs Claus" cozy mystery series. The main character is Mrs Cordelia Claus, Santa's wife and second in command at the North Pole.

It's crunch time at the North Pole as Christmas is less than a month away. Cordelia is busy making sure everything is running smoothly to take the pressure off of Nick. Her adjunct, Clarence, keeps begging her not to take so much on herself, but Cordelia just wants Nick to be relaxed and happy as he prepares for Christmas Eve. Things are thrown into chaos when Cordelia and Clarence discover that the List has been tampered with, and now all the kids on it are in the "Nice" category. It's up to them to figure out who sabotaged the List and fix it before Santa finds out.

This was cutesy and a tad trite. It seemed more appropriate for tweens than adults. It was an okay read, although it lacked any real substance. Average read, average score.

The list has been tampered with!

A gentle quick read. Okay it's a bit cutesy and a bit too sweet but overall its a good read. With the characters displaying all the elves best trains but also some very human ones too..
She's been taking over as much of Nick's work as she can but the decision to look at the list is a fateful one. The List has been tampered with! All the children are on the Nice section even the ones she knows have been naughty just recently. Who tampered with it? Was it Nate with his desire to have technology take over? Was it the bakery elf who has a crush on the Head Keeper of the List? Or was the answer a more trivial one?

"Making a List, Fixing it Nice" - they don't come any cosier than this.
Mrs. Cordelia Santa has, over the last century or so, taken over much of Santa's pre-planning:- "No matter how stressed it made her to do everything herself, she was always glad when Christmas Eve came and everything ran smoothly."
So, when it all goes to hell in a hand basket, the last thing she is going to do is let Santa know.
Someone, most likely an elf, has done a number on the naughty and nice list.
It has to be sorted and the culprit found before any more sabotage takes place and the rumblings about Santa being replaced with a new model increase.
It's a jolly festive read.

This was my first read by Linnea West and I was impressed. This is a brilliant read! It pulled me in from beginning to end and held my attention. The world building is detailed and imaginative. This novel has strong, well developed characters and an interesting story line that keeps you turning the pages. I recommend this novel and would read more novels by this author. She captured what Santa and his bearing gifts is all about. This novel was provided to me by StoryOrigin. This is my honest review

Perfect Christmas Cozy

This is the perfect cozy. I feel with a few tweaks on some of the wording a parent could read this to their children as a holiday book broke down over several nights. The story has an amazing moral that I feel many people can learn from. Not many cozy books have a moral, so this is a really great feature. I truly hope that the author writes more in this series.

Pre-Christmas Crisis Alert!
Is Santa going to be foiled getting the gifts to the world's children?!? Someone has messed up Santa's Naughty or Nice List and things are looking dicey!
This is an adorable tale to read any time, really, but a week or two before Christmas makes it even more urgent to solve the mystery. Reading it to the kiddos would make an excellent pre-Christmas mystery for them to help solve. Loved every minute of it!

A cute cozy mystery at the North Pole. Mrs. Clause helps the elf in charge of the naughty or nice list find out who changed all the names to show up on the nice list. It's crunch time to get ready for Santa to take off in a short time so the list has to be corrected and they have to find out how it got changed. A cute read for Christmas.

This is a short story about Mrs Claus and crunch time, the last few weeks before Santa's big night. Mrs Claus find the naughty and nice last has been compromised. Now everyone is on the nice list. This is so wrong because they won't have enough gifts for all the kids of the world. She tries to find out who did . Can she also find out how to fix it before Santa finds out?

Cute Christmas story

I liked this story but it wasn't too much of a mystery. It seemed to move along at a very
slow pace and at times I just put it down. Santa and elves should be cute and hold one's attention. They were all more like regular people who are concerned with others finding out they have messed up and where they will go on vacation.

Christmas Mystery

A mystery starring Mrs. Clause. This was great and different. It held all the Christmas spirit and traditions one knows but gives them a new twist. Plus the mystery is fun and hold perfectly to the spirit of Santa.

This was a very cute and easy to read book. If you want a break as I did from Murder Mysteries and Romance, read this book. It is light and very sweet! You could even read it to a young person or child.
I mean it's about Santa, Mrs. Clause and Elves! What a joy to read.

A cute little story about a mishap with the naughty and nice list. Good enough for a few giggles. Didn’t like the open ending though.
