First, I want to thank T.K. Chapin for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

I have been a fan of T.K. Chapin’s for a while now. I have seen his writing and storylines grow stronger and powerful with life lessons. However, Loving in his Way is the most powerful of all as it touched on so many important topics that effect families and loved ones. As with each book he writes T.K. intertwines his love of faith into the story with scripture at just the right times of the story.

As stated earlier this book dealt with many important issues. Even though the book deals with forgiveness some of these topics may be hard to swallow-especially this time of year. This book deals with drug addiction, abusive partners, drunk driving, loss, infidelity, custody battle, etc.

This is the first time that T.K. has done a Christmas Book that I am aware of. So, I enjoyed that aspect of the story.

Throughout the story there were many times I smiled ear to ear and many he pulled so hard on my heart strings I cried.

Immediately, I smiled as the main character’s name is Courtney as that is my sister’s name. But more than that I felt a connection to the character as she too had always wanted children of her own. Plus, she was willing to protect her family no matter what happened. Two main aspects of the story line.

I had a great sense that T.K. was very passionate about Courtney’s and Brian’s storyline. It made reading their relationship progression much more meaningful.

In the beginning of this book he mentions that he has a prayer companion prayer book. This may be found on Amazon.

Loving in His Way follows the story of Courtney, a widowed, motherless woman who seems to have it all together. Until one day, Courtney is left to look after her two nephews while their mother is in rehab. Courtney's world is turned upside down, she loses her job and has countless sleepless nights with two very active young boys.

Brian, a divorced father with a successful online business, offers Courtney some reprieve after losing her job and almost her sanity, by offering her a job.

This is a beautifully written story about dealing with curveballs life throws at you, losing love and learning to trust again.

I am a huge fan of T.K Chapin. Every single one of his many books deals with topics that are real in so many peoples lives. His books are straight to the point and always include relevant bible verses.

Truly inspiring.

I received an advanced reader copy of Loving in His Way from the author, T.K Chapin. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This story highlights the trouble in this world. Life and people make mistakes and at times we have to stand up for the ones who need our protection as we lean on God to get us through.
Courtney married a God fearing man only to find her self a widow at a very young age. Her sister Taylor lost her way after their father died. Years ago Taylor found herself pregnant and needing to go rehab and Courtney helped her. Now she has 2 little boys, an abusive boyfriend where drugs are part of their lives. Courtney tries to help her with a place to stay but Taylor’s boyfriend puts her in the hospital and she miscarries their baby. Courtney agreed to care for her nephews when Taylor goes back to rehab.

Brian is a godly man who married and had a daughter. He built a business from the ground up only to come home early to find his wife and business partner having an affair. Brian has no desire to put his heart out there again.

Brian and Courtney meet a church and their lives are pushed together by circumstances.

Will Courtney be able to keep her nephews safe? Will Taylor finish rehab? Will Brian open his heart to possibility of love?

A story about real world issues that shows have leaning on God you can navigate the trials.

Courtney is a single woman, faced with a huge challenge. Brian is a single dad, dealing with the hurt of the breakup of his marriage, and the difficulties of being a divorced dad. Courtney and Brian meet at possibly the lowest point in Courtney's life, when she is struggling with her family, her faith, and tough decisions that need to be made. Will Courtney make the right decision, even though the right decision will hurt her family immeasurably? Will Courtney allow Brian to help her during this difficult time? T.K. Chapin is one of my favorite authors for authenticity he brings to his characters. This is a love story, but it is not a perfect story by any means. Courtney and Brian are real people, facing real life dilemmas, and everything doesn't always go according to plan. You will be pulled into the story, and you will find yourself cheering these two on as they progress in their relationship, bumps in the road and all. I received this book in exchange for my honest review. The opinions expressed are completely my own.

Courtney is a amazing woman. When she lost Drew she never thought she would be able to find love again. Taylor is struggle with her choices in life. When she shows up with the boys Courtney knows she has to protect the boys. Brian is a wonderful man who vows not to let another woman in his life. Tk. Chapin will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next with this wonderful people. You will feel God working throughout this wonderful book. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could.

T. K. Chapin has a knack for writing stories that the reader can identify with in someway, either personally or through others they know. This is no exception. Here he deals with the loss of a spouse through death and one through divorce, a drug and abuse situation that tears a family apart, and how God works in the lives of these people to help them not only to survive , but to flourish in His love through trusting Him. I was given an ARC of this book, but the review is my independent opinion.

Any time I read a T. K. Chapin book I know I’m going to come away with more than just a good story, there are usually hard lessons to be learned. Forgiveness has to be one of the hardest lessons because we just don’t want to let go of those feelings of being done wrong and being owed something. This book contains those lessons but it also has a sweet second chance at love story. You need to read this story.

I loved the forgiveness in this book that was highlighted. Todd & Blaze were a handful & working with them was a challenge for Courtney but glad to see persistence won out. And because of her doing the hard thing her sister got out of her bad situation. Brian was an amazing father & human being! Need more like him! I loved the relationships with God & how the characters build on that relationship.

I enjoyed this story. I could feel the emotions throughout the book. Sometimes doing the right thing is hard, but there are unexpected blessings. I found this book to be fairly realistic in its portrayal of human interactions and how things could be. I enjoyed the fact that the main characters were able to get the strength and grace to deal with life from God. I received a complimentary copy of this book, but have chosen to freely offer my own thoughts and opinions.

Another five star read by this author!!!

I have read most, if not all, of the books by T. K. Chapin. He is one of my favorite authors. His strong Christian faith is evident in all of his books. The characters all seem very real and will touch your heart. This book included a young mother who suffered with drug addiction and abuse. In addition to difficulties, there was love of family and romance. Once you start reading this book, you won't be able to put it down.

Forgiveness is a theme that runs strong

Forgiveness is a theme that runs strongly through this book. Courtney has to find forgiveness for her sister who is a drug addict with two small children. Courtney finds herself a widow with the children while her sister is in rehab. After losing her job, she finds another with a man whose wife left him for his friend. This is a contemporary story with real life problems. I enjoyed this book!

A powerful story that leans hard on God. Very well written. Doing the right thing is never easy but Courtney, with Brian's (God"s help with skin on) help prays her way through an emotion packed book. Love all books by this author as they always have a godly heart message. Highly recommend.

A story worth reading

Enjoyed Courtney's story. She did what was right. She stood her ground even with her Mom and Sister were mad at her. She did what was best for the children.

TK Chapin has the uncanny ability to write powerful and emotional stories that capture you. This one deals with true forgiveness, total reliance on and complete faith in God, and doing what's right. Heartwarming story of second chance relationships, forgiveness, trusting God, and walking through life’s trials. The key theme is keeping God at the center of our lives through all of life. I love how the characters on this story use Scripture on a regular basis to ground them and guide them. Can their be healing and a bright future for Courtney who lost her husband at a young age or for Brain who was betrayed by his wife and his friend and business partner? Get a copy of this book and see how they deal with hurt and loss and how God works in their lives. My favorite quotes are:
When God guard two people together in marriage, it’s like super glue on wood. Yes, it can be torn apart, but it’s an ugly mess that in some ways never changes. No matter how it was separated.
Fear is but an absence of trust in God
Life is not about love we get from other people but the love we already have from God.

Courtney and Brian are both in a very low place emotionally and spiritually when they meet. I really enjoyed watching their relationship grow. The problems of addiction, abuse, divorce, forgiveness, custody battles, and more, are skillfully addressed. As always Mr. Chapin has woven in scripture and answers God provides for the issues that come up in life today. The characters and and situations are realistic and believable. This book is Christian romance at its best! Thank you for another moving, inspirational story, Mr. Chapin!
