Wow just what I needed for building better cigar box guitars I know what I'm going to be giving for Christmas

I have been a fan of 3 string cigar box guitars for over 6 years and have built several guitars in the past I have library of books and plans and this book will show you the best way to build a cigar box guitars yes guitars when you find yourself strumming your first build you'll find yourself planing your next project

Good Guide for Your First Build

This is an excellent book and will guide you through making your first cigar box guitar. It assumes no knowledge and reassures you, many times, that mistakes happen and 'what the hell does it matter anyway' CBGs are not meant to be perfect.

I can imagine that some people will find the time and shameless plugging of a web site irritating but it does not detract from the usefulness of the book.

Great starter book for building a Cigar Box Guitar.

This book starts you out from scratch. Picking the right cigar box, the required tools and how to create your own musical instrument. Sources are listed, The author has a store and is an expert in the field. Plenty of photos and good directions. Well worth the read.
