Love despite parental meddling!
Both Lance and Marissa were seen by their respective parents as needing to settle down and take over the helm of their merging companies. Neither Lance nor Marissa saw the need to change how they lived their lives. The respective parents combined their efforts and devised a plan to force their respective offspring to marry before the merger and then taking over if the companies could occur. Both fought against the marriage until they didn't!! Fearing they were the only one whose feelings were changing they hid their feelings even after the wedding until neither could hide it any longer. Finally they realized they no longer wanted to hide their feelings. Both came clean about their feelings for each other after a passionate night of love making paving the way for them to have a happy and prosperous marriage with their parents' blessings. I like this story a lot. It took a playboy and a workaholic woman mixed them up in a relationship together and true love was the result!!!! Great story Ms. Etienne a really great job.

Finding Love Unexpectedly
I gave this modern-day interracial love story a five star rating because it was filled with drama, uncertainty and eventually unlikely love. I read the entire story without putting the book down, that's how incredibly written it was. Kudos

Great Read!
Marissa and Lance basically came from the same side of the tracks, but definitely ran in different circles! No matter how much their parents tried to push them together, they pushed back! But sometimes parents know what is best. I think people will enjoy reading this book!! I definitely recommend it to others!

I love this story
This was a good read.
I enjoyed the simple love gained in the end. I was not sure if I would enjoy it but I thoroughly recommend this quick read.

It was ok. A little disjointed but overall not a horrible book. Sometimes it just needs a little more to tie it up
