Straight Talk About Breast Cancer: From Diagnosis to Recovery : A Guide for the Entire Family

Rate this book
Excellent quick-reference information about breast cancer--diagnosis, treatment, and breast reconstruction. Dr. Suzanne Braddock, a breast cancer survivor, wrote this book after realizing there were no "quick reference" books available to answer pressing questions about breast cancer and treatment for it. A guide for the entire family, the book is easy reading and also contains inspirational messages from the breast cancer survivors. Eight pages of breast reconstruction photos.

It was helpful, but I'd learned a lot already just by Googling and reading .org sites.

A brief explanation of all the steps leading up to a diagnosis of breast cancer and the varied treatments leading to recovery. My brain was in a fog and I missed some information given to me at the hospital...this book filled in some of the holes for me.
