Best book on a Victorian home I read so far. It's not about politics, but about home life, especially the role and problems of the women and how difficult it was for them to fit into society. It has some really interesting photographs and drawings as well.
I'd love to read even more about Victorian architecture, design and maybe food. It lists a lot of resources so that will not be a problem.
