Antonio Quilis (Larache, Marruecos, 1933 - Madrid, 2003),Phd in Philosophy and Arts from the University of Madrid, he specialized in Spanish phonetics and phonology. He was Professor of linguistic subjects at the University of Seville, the University of Valladolid and the National University of Distance Education.
