Cassidy Brown Growing up, I never thought I'd be 'that' girl. The one that was with a man that hit her and abused her in every way. That's exactly where I found myself though. Until a woman knowing nothing about me got me out with the help of Satan's Anarchy MC. Can I now trust the two men that have captivated me? Hawk and Chains make me want to trust in men again. Paul 'Hawk' Carter I found my place in the world and a family when I joined Satan's Anarchy MC. That's where I also met my best friend, Chains. We do everything together including sharing our women. Cassidy shows up at Anarchy Ink and I know she's our one. Can we make her see not all men are like her ex? Tommy 'Chains' Sampson I was roaming the world, lost until I met some guys from Satan's Anarchy MC. They've become my family and I'd die to protect the men and women of the club. A chance encounter with Cassidy makes me realize I've been missing something. There's a void only she can fill. Can I protect her or will she be taken away from us too soon?
Cassidy Brown had her life all planned, until she met a man who slowly chipped away at her until she was nothing but a shell of her old self. She finds herself rescued though and under the watchful eye of Paul 'Hawk"' Carter and Tommy 'Chains' Sampson, they are her protectors and have made it clear they want her but also given her the time to heal and find herself again. Chains and Hawk know that Cassidy is their one, they will do everything they can to keep her protected and follow her dreams. What happens though when her past comes back to haunt her though?
This was entertaining. I had wondered what Cassidy's story was because she is a huge part in other books. Great chemistry between the characters.
SAMC is one you have seen in books of the Phantom Bastards and the Wild Kings. I Loved reading this story. Cassidy is hurt and scared but shows all of us that there is hidden steel in her spine. She teaches out and grabs her happy with both hands. I love it. If any wait for more
Wow I don't usually care for stories that are MFM but these ladies did an amazing job with writing this one. It saddened me with how Cassidy was treated by her ex douchbag husband, but I was really floored with the way her parents believed him and not her and she didn't feel like she had anyone or anywhere to go for help. The best thing that could have happened to her was when she walked inside Anarchy Ink looking for a job and Hadleigh noticed her bruises and how she was holding her stomach and thank goodness that Hawk and Chains were there to protect her and eventually make her theres. She was kidnapped by her ex again because he was going to sell her to pay off his debt, but our little she warrior bonked him on the head while in the shower with a cast iron skillet and actually killed him but the guys thought it best not to burden her with this. These guys are just like the ones from the previous stories, that when they find there ONE, they cherish and loved them. Also very glad that she got her dream job by helping other abused women and children. Happy reading.
Am I the only one that read Darcy's Downfall in the Wild Kings MC: Dander Falls? Where it said that Darcy's only family, her Aunt, died? How can Cassidy be her cousin if Darcy has no family left, let alone an Aunt and Uncle that she's in touch with and is close enough to change their mind about their daughter? This is not the first time that there has been different stories when families are involved in these connected series. Wood is part of the Phantom Bastards not the Wild Kings. Cassidy tells a woman that her men are part of the Phantom Bastards not Satan's Anarchy in front of her men, men that do not correct her in any way. Is it really asking too much to keep the various clubs, their various charters and their members straight? Is it asking too much to have some continuity? Is Is it really necessary for the heroine(s) to have to go through so many traumatic situations that they then seem to overcome immediately without assistance? Is it possible to get a new editor in order not to have as many spelling and grammatical errors?
OMG, Cassidy is not just broken but beaten it’s no wonder she doesn’t trust easily. However, when Hawk and chains come into her life, they sing to support and make her a better person. This book had so many twist and turns did not want to put it down. Was so intrigued with the fact that the author has put in the book that Cassidy with a heart troubles and challenges, and the fact that she came from a domestic relationship, is determined to work with domestic violence and protect the ladies that the MC comes across. I think that’s the highlight of this novel. Can’t read to see what the author has for the next book in this series.
Chains and Hawk are two men every women would be more than happy to have in their life. Protective, carling, loving, hot as hell. These two men are exactly what Cassidy needs in her life to feel save and loved. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I can't wait to read Renegade's story.
As always I loved this book. Cassidy shows strength and courage to a lot of women who have been in that situation. She shows you can overcome that kind of abuse and find love with a real man. Hawk and chains show Cassidy that no matter her past and what was done to her that she is still very loveable.
Okay series. Read all 4. They were getting the MC's mixed up a lot in this book which make the story from book to book hard to follow. They talk as if Vulture/Diablo are two different people and then they are the same person. They refer to some members of this book as members of the Phantom Bastards mc when they are not.
Menage is not my favorite partnering, but I did enjoy this one. Hawk and Chains treated Cass with respect, class and were amazing to her. And I lov3 how Cass fought her demon. I do wish there was some kind of therapy for these women, it’s not ok to simply say „they are strong“ because that implies anyone who does need help isn’t „strong“ it’s a slippery slope.
Good MC wasn’t to bad. A lot going on. I didn’t read in order so definitely will grab first two books because there was information I needed so I wouldn’t necessarily say it could be read as a standalone. But I understand & caught the gist of what was happening. Definitely want to read next book & graves book!
This was one heck of a book that all the hot and steamy alpha we love ,but focused alot on the recovery of victims of things lived on a daily basis in society. Great job
Loved the book. Just a little disappointed in the cover. Cassidy was looking like a bad ass. Loved her look but it gave me the impression she was going to ride her own bike. So need more women riders not just passengers
Great follow up in the series. Lots of twists and turns to draw you into the storyline that you can’t put the book down. Definitely recommend this book!
I was pulled into this book right from the beginning, staying there until I had read the very last word written. All the while I was watching it play out in my head like a mini movie. There are twists, turns and surprises throughout the story. Some of the surprises you may see coming where as others you won't. Some are large, while others are small. But each and every surprise holds equal importance within the story. From the first to last page in the book the emotions that the characters go through can be felt, I went through them along with the characters. Another brilliant book to add to the others in this series. I love forward to the next one.
Cassidy has been abused her entire marriage. Until she's rescued by Satan's Anarchy. Hawk and Chains are attracted to Cassidy. What happens when they act on that attraction?
This book was really great reading. Some really good twists and turns plus action and romance. It does deal with the subject of abuse but also overcoming and getting seat from it. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
