Yet again Scott Allsop has achieved a great read. This makes a cracking Christmas present for the armchair historian. It’s one of those books that is well researched. The index allows the reader to pick a theme and follow it or just read a page a day gaining random knowledge on a huge range of historically significant but many not talked about topics.

I got this on Kindle after reading the first book through a Bookbub deal. 'Another' enjoyable trip through the year, and the children in my class enjoy reading the day's event each day. This seems to have a more global feel than the first volume which may be my own interpretation, but means as a read it feels like I'm getting a broader range of history.

An unexpectedly enjoyable book that I received for Christmas. Incorporates a wide range of historical periods and themes that manages to avoid being too focused on any particular series of events or regions.

I really enjoyed Mr. Allsop's first daily reading history book, and had the same experience with his second. Having to choose and then recount 365 important days in history, each distilled to 1.5 pages yet written in an interesting fashion, is a true accomplishment.

Now, Mr. Allsop, i am waiting for your next book: Another ANOTHER 366 Days: Even More Stories From This Day in History (Kindle Edition)
