Larry Gonick (born 1946) is a cartoonist best known for The Cartoon History of the Universe, a history of the world in comic book form, which he has been publishing in installments since 1977. He has also written The Cartoon History of the United States, and he has adapted the format for a series of co-written guidebooks on other subjects, beginning with The Cartoon Guide to Genetics in 1983. The diversity of his interests, and the success with which his books have met, have together earned Gonick the distinction of being "the most well-known and respected of cartoonists who have applied their craft to unravelling the mysteries of science" (Drug Discovery Today, March 2005).

Creationists hate that we say humans are evolved from apes.
But no the truth is worse we are all evolved from algae lol
Also it's crazy how the first animals was described as the first plants to eat other plants, so pretty much it's saying what makes you an animal is eating other living beings.
This comic was just so fun 57 pages so over twice the easy comics i have been reading.
But crammed full of knowledge, i love science i should try to read a science book one day this year.

A fun book and my son enjoyed reading it with me, but my overall knowledge of history is not that strong and I found that the many facts, while humorously portrayed, didn't stick in my brain very well -- I would remember more from in-depth description of fewer topics.
