Each section includes both the fundamentals and the service procedures information necessary to perform the tasks in the corresponding section of the ASE task list. Each chapter includes "Shop Tips" based on the author's extensive industry experience. Case histories are scattered throughout the book to give the reader an appreciation for actual shop practice. Each section concludes with an extensive list of questions, with at least one for each task covered in that section, and all in the format of the ASE examination.
