Heads it's Boy 1, tails it's Boy 2! What's a girl to do? Ee-ji has a problem: She's not sure which boy she wants to be involved with! On one hand, there's Han-Gyul. He was her first crush from her elementary school days, and even though they are in high school, she still hasn't forgotten him. But on the other hand, there's Sae-Ryun. He's Han-Gyul's best friend, and even though he is very rude and picks on Ee-ji all the time, he has a certain something that Han-Gyul lacks. Who will she pick - or will the decision be made for her?
While a concept I have seen through Shoujo, I did like some Korean twist. However the main heroine and her struggles did not capture my attention like her best friend and even her brothers did.
Korean manga is called manhwa, apparently. I have only read two of them so far (Star Project Chiro, Volume 1 is the other) the oddest similarity I noticed is three older brothers and a younger sister as siblings.
Ee-Ji is friends with Do-Kyung in school, I think love triangles probably became popularized in teen readers by manga/manhwa (or it's universally world wide).
Ee-ji is a friendly girl who helps people (being compared to a maid or servant) and sometimes gets her feelings hurt, she has a crush from elementary school come back into her life - Han-Kyul, who is 'mature' and somewhat mysterious, and the hot tempered Sae-Ryun, who is somehow best friends with Han-Kyul.
