Personal Response I liked this book it gave good details and good reasonings for who should and should not own a gun. It was overall a good book and had lots of information about gun violence and what you could do to control it.
Plot In this book the narrator gave great detail about how gun violence has become a big problem in the United States. It showed how many people were shot on average in the country compared to other countries. The book gave good facts about guns and how people nowadays are not using guns how they should be used. The book gave information about all the laws that have been passed or changed about gun rights since the mid 1800’s. People have had good debates about if handguns should or should not be legal since people are using them to hurt others and not using them for hunting and protecting yourself from being harmed. The main concern from this book is that people are using guns wrong and there should be more consequences out of their actions.
Characterization The main character was the narrator in the book. This book would be interesting for someone who is interested about how to control gun violence.
Recommendations I would recommend this book for people who are interested in knowing the laws and safety about using guns. Also for people who are interested in seeing how people are using guns how they should not be used and ways to prevent gun violence. I would recommend the book for boys and girls age 15+.
