Ely the Elephant 'The Meaning of Life' is a story of adventure and discovery. Little Ely, is a very curious little elephant always asking questions, that his Dad does his best to answer, until one day he asks, 'What is the Meaning of Life'. Dad struggles to explain, so sends his son on a journey to try to find the answer.The story takes Ely through the jungle meeting different animals who have different philosophical perspectives to this question. From a children's viewpoint they answer, that life is about having about, fun, peace, strength, no meaning and knowing the Creator. From adults perspective they represent Secular Humanism, New Age thinking, Darwinism, Nihilism and Creationism. The question is which one provides the best answer, and what can we learn from each of them.
