4.5 Stars. The Kansas Cowboys have such a compelling cast, with Lizzie and Dallas adding even more enjoyment to the series. They try to fight an undeniable attraction, which strengthens their characters as their friendship turns to more. Heartbreaking emotion and a heartwarming romance will keep you captivated in this story. The upcoming rodeo brings previous favourite characters into many scenes with some added twists and heartache for Dallas’ sister-in-law. Another hit for the Kansas Cowboys. Sweet, contentious and satisfying! With book seven in her always delightful Kansas Cowboys series Leigh Riker brings us the story of Elizabeth Barnes and Dallas Maquire. The characters had my attention from start to finish and I enjoyed seeing them over come the obstacle of life to head towards their happily ever after!

Lizzie is uptight and concerned about appearance, but after the turmoil her ex-husband put her through we can understand her being guarded. The rare occasion she let's her guard down and relaxes with Dallas is magical.

Dallas carries a whole lot of baggage from his childhood along with him everywhere he goes. His life on the rodeo circuit has allowed him to outrun it a bit, but settling down and adjusting to a new way of life is bringing it all swirling around him again.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves a laid back cowboy finding a happily ever after that he didn't even know he was looking for. There are many great characters and connections in this series and I'm really enjoying it.

Another in the Kansas Cowboys series in which two different women find themselves pregnant when not married. One is single, the other recently divorced, both concerned about what others will think of him. The greater concern is felt by Elizabeth Barnes, in large part because her reputation means everything to her. Or does it?

And the man she spends a night with is Dallas Maguire, a professional bull rider not expected to stay in town after he's fully healed from his latest injury. But during the time when he and Lizzy work together to create and then pull off a charity rodeo, she begins to develop a spine--handy for standing up to her interfering mother. And Dallas begins to rethink what he wants the rest of his life to be, to include.

But what about that other pregnant girl? Perhaps she'll be the subject of yet another in this series.
