You just spent a good chunk of your life writing the book that you always knew you had in you, and now it's time to publish it! But you're an author, not a graphic designer, and you need an eye-catching book cover that will make readers say yes to buying your book.

Some book distributors have tools to help you out, but they rely on templates that are less than de-sirable and scream, "This book has been self-published!"

This is a very short but useful guide to designing book covers using Canva - an online tool I had never heard of. I gave this book 4 stars because it introduced me to some new sites, and the author has a very friendly writing style. BUT… Some of the images in the book are rather small, and the cover is terrible (ironically). The title is pixelated. I really think she should have spent more time designing the cover (even if he didn’t it in minutes to show it could be done, it really doesn’t sell the book).
