Cute and important lesson
I read this book with my 5 year old and was happy to give him a sweet and cute story while still teaching an important lesson.
Now we ask “what do you do if someone gives you a gift?” and he replies with “thank you.”
We continue with “and what do you do if someone gives you a gift that you don’t like?” and he replies with “thank you!”

Great birthday story
I enjoyed that the book has a girl named Sarah just like my daughter. This is g old birthday party story with a good lesson. The illustrations are really good too.
