A rhyming picture book about Jonathan Harrison Spencer, whose parents are divorcing. This book goes through the emotions that a child is likely to have on learning that their parents are divorcing, including self-blame, sadness, hoping that their parents can just make up, anger, and confusion. Throughout it all, his parents express their love and support of Jonathan, and explain that it is't his fault. At the end there is a parent and teacher guide for talking about the book with youngsters.
For younger children, this book covers divorce, nothing too specific and mainly reinforces the love both parents have for the young child as his parents deal with divorce.
