God's Fuel: The Story of John Douglas Munday

Rate this book
John Munday, grandson of a prominent Victoria, B.C. pioneer, has lived and worked with the troubled and handicapped youth of Quito, Ecuador, for almost forty years. For more than twelve of these, he sheltered many of them at Diospaj Nan, the home and Christian Centre he developed at the Line of the Equator. Here they experienced God's love in being accepted as part of his family, in receiving the medical help they so often required, and in knowing the stability of a warm and loving environment.

This is John's story, and the story of many of his "adopted" children, told, for the most part, through a selection from the almost eight hundred letters written to his own family members at home.
