Expecting More From Author
The author is creative when it comes to the plot of her novels. I’ll give her that. However, I have decided I don’t care for her writing style.
Quite often, I find myself skipping through sections of each chapter because the content is repetitive. The characters give long speeches and say the same things again and again. BORING!!!
Additionally, she had too many books published not to have a seasoned editor on her team. I was rolling my eyes at the numerous spelling and grammatical errors. It’s a no for me moving forward.

This was truly everything I hoped for and more. I felt so entertained throughout, and it was nice to know there was never a dull moment. Heavy and Shye’s journey as a couple was heartwarming, and I’m really glad they managed to overcome their struggles. I was also pleasantly surprised to see Proctor and Zoey work through their problems—it's comforting to know that even the toughest issues can be resolved. I genuinely can’t wait to see what the next book brings for these characters!

This is really good!! I don’t like Posh she’s crazy maybe Chris needs to get with her since they both don’t like the word NO. Proctor got some nerve being upset with Zoe after everything he’s put her through😡🤬. I don’t like Chris but Zoe needs to focus on her and her child and not worry about Proctor because he was still messing with Kia when she slept with Chris. Lo got some nerve and that dirty broad she knew that was Shai’s place she’s been giving him updates. Heavy needs to act like he wants Shai instead of concerning himself with Posh’s ghetto behavior I’m starting to think he wants Posh just as much as she wants him. KC Mills you’ve done it again❤️

So the kindle version is actually 458 pages, but for whatever reason, goodreads has it listed as way lower than that. Anywho, I am only giving it 4 stars, because it was a bit drawn out. Just a smidge and that bothers me to no end. I enjoyed this read and it was definitely entertaining. I didn't like Heavy 100% because I felt like he was a little too cocky for my liking with some of his comments, but overall, he was a good dude. I liked Procter. Shai was alright, but Zoe was beyond dumb. I almost feel like she put herself through unnecessary torture with Chris. and I also believe Heavy and Procter should've exposed Chris. Like, what? expose him! He is just going to keep doing that to women. Ew. Posh was the exact example of what a terrible person and mother is. LOL just not a good look for her. Bianca and Kia were typical to me, kinda gross on Procter's part, but i guess. Shai's dad is also a terrible excuse for a person. I almost need to know what happened to him. Did he get elected or what?

Lawd this is a messy situation and I don't see it getting any better. Shai found herself in a complicated position after meeting Heavy one night. Heavy already have his hands full with his very childish and very bitter ex Posh. Heavy now have two different woman who will be in his life because of impulsive decisions but something is telling me Posh sneaky behind is trying to hold on to him by any means necessary. Even if it means holding on to a lie. Shai just wanted one night of fun which turned into more than she bargained for. She also have Lo trifling ass who just showed who he really was and that was he doesn't give a damn about nobody but himself. Zoe has found herself lying and hiding something from Proctor. With Chris lurking and threatening to expose the truth. Zoe is scared. Although Proctor did his dirt and a child came from that. He is not going to be as forgiving when Zoe secret is revealed. I'm looking forward to part two.

Whew Chile the ghetto! I have so many thoughts and feelings on this book here! First why they keeping trying bae like he playing with a full deck is beyond me. They ain’t gonna be satisfied until he come through and shit everything down lol. All the women in this book is a hot mess and need Jesus to take the wheel fast. The men are no where near perfect but they the only ones showing a lick of sense, maturity , and trying to own up to the ish smh. Shai started off immature then kinda got it together just to kinda lose it again, Posh ain’t no saving that train wreck. Don’t even get me started on the two sisterwives. Eve is a hating friend in disguise. And Zoe smh she just can’t! This book was explosive and had me on pulled in from page one. December can’t get here quick enough! She just keep evolving and putting out bangers

So let me say that I read the re-released version of this book.
First thing first, I hollered at the name of the 1st chapter 😂😂
I liked Heavy and Shai. I wasn't too engaged with Zoe and Procter's storyline, though. Skipping through most of their parts.
The book started off strong, but then it became repetitive and started to drag. I found myself skipping multiple pages 🙃 The book shouldn't have been nearly as long as it was.
I feel as if it was a lot of talk about how Heavy gets active and was touched in the head, but I didn't see it.
There was new information popping up in the story that really didn't make sense.
I almost DNF'd at 82% but struggled through it. I literally skipped every page between 84% and 93% of the book. I only read the courthouse scene and skipped the rest after that.

Welp..........and the drama continues....
Boring, it was not! Definitely a page turner that leaves you wanting more. KC Mills always do her thang! I love me some Heavy and love how he gets down. I love him and Shai together. They are just too cute..like there were meant for each other. Posh and Chris...can’t wait for them to get what’s coming to them.... welp Posh already is having a taste of it...great! I hope Procter and Zoe could sort out their stuff as well. Love them together. I hope that their love is stronger than the outside forces. Great job! Can’t wait for part two!

KC Mills did not have to do us like that, smh this book was so good. I cannot wait for part 2😊 Heavy is Bae, Shai butt better say what's right or its going to be some trouble lol Heavy isn't playing. I feel Sorry for Zoe 😢 I can understand why procter would be hurt , hopefully they can work it out. That damn Posh is a mess smh she needs to grow the hell up she act so damn dumb. Lo is just a all out clown for what he did in Shai's apartment. Chris needs to sit his a** down somewhere if someone don't want you just let it go. Good Job Ms. Mills.

What a freaking RUSH!!!
Omg, these series keep getting better and better. I love this character's rude take charge attitude. Heavy is without a doubt that man your mom's tells you to steer clear of. Everyone good girls dream is a Heavy. Can he commit yes, will he be easily tempted to cheat ? Absolutely, but I think in the end he'd be worth the risk. Procter is right up there with Heavy but less demanding and rudeness a little more tamed. Posh is terrible!! Shai better choose her words carefully. Very good read.

Interesting 🤔
I like the book and it’s premise. Unfortunately, the ladies of the book are driving me crazy. Between Posh, Zoe and Shai, I cannot figure out who is the simplest. They are all childish and so immature. It is very hard to believe that the men in this book would really want to be with these women the way that they are. I do however, really like Heavy and Procter. I feel bad for Procter and the news that he received. Can’t wait for book 2, to find out if he forgives Zoe or not.

This book was ok. I listen it on Libby and it’s like 12 hours long and feel like this could be an 6 hour book. The conversations are repetitive at times. Also I hated the narrators voice for Zoey, like I wanted to skip her dialogue everytime. There is a lot of double standards in the book as well. Men can get women pregnant just fine and cheat on their women but god forbid a woman does the same thing. And these damn alpha men, like it is laughable how Protoctor and Heavy cause fear in almost every man they talk too. All in all, it’s a hood book lol.

This book was simple yet still FIRE. The storyline was so captivating that I wouldn’t dare put it down. Heavy is a Respectful man who believes in doing right by the Woman or Women in his life. A one night stand changes his life but is it for the Better is the question. With a bitter baby mama and other life changing events what will Heavy do? I don’t know but I will damn sure be anxiously waiting for the next installment.

Everyone has drama surrounding them and babies coming!! Posh definitely deserves the reality check that Heavy has given her! She makes me wonder if that's even his baby. Shai will definitely have to pay for not explaining herself properly for still calling Lo her man. She better get it together before Heavy treats her like he's doing Shai. Zoe has made a huge mistake, but maybe Procter will take her back. Can't wait to read part two!

The title of this series was just right because those main male characters are too good for them.. The storyline will blow your mind you won’t have a choice but to read this book until the end! I’m pregnant by Heavy and I’m keeping it
Man oh man. From the very first page i was hooked. It was such a good read. I really don’t think that Posh’s baby is Heavy’s. Something just doesn’t seem right there. And Lo would come home and cause all this mess when he know he don’t even want Shai! And who does Eve think she is. And she know she wrong as heck for inviting her so called friend to that party! Ugh! It was such a good read! I can’t wait for part 2!

Too repetitive and dragged out
I skipped a lot of pages because it seems to be repetitive. The first couple of chapters held my interest then after that it seem like it was being dragged. I am over Posh storyline and Heavy telling her the same thing. These women in this book is suppose to be grown but they act like they are 14-17. Not one adult have any sense. I make it to the end (finally) and the craziest cliffhanger ever.

Just Good
I am kinda on the fence about whether this was good or just okay. Right now I can't get behind any character. These people are just a tad bit too whiny and on the fence about everything. But I do love that Posh is getting a taste of her own medicine. This story has been well thought out and excited with giving you a lot of bang. I look forward to the next installment to see if we get that Mills Magic we have come to love.

This just keep getting better!! I just wish that some miracle would happen and the baby would end up being Proctor's. Hell I don't want Posh baby to be Heavy's. I'm so sick of her! Another 5 start read, great storyline full of action, drama , and great sex. Heavy is everything and Posha a?? ain't shit. Men can dish it out but can't take it when the shoe is on the other foot. I need the 2nd book ASAP!!!!!! HEAVY IS MY NEW BOO!! Now I am concerned about Shai's daddy he seems like he may have abused her. Lo needs to gone ahead and move around ain't nobody got time for him. I need the 2nd book ASAP!!!!!! HEAVY IS MY NEW BOO!! Now I am concerned about Shai's daddy he seems like he may have abused her. Lo needs to gone ahead and move around ain't nobody got time for him. Eve was soo foul...she seemed jealous of Shai to me! I love Mrs. Beverly she is a mess!!! I want to see Zoe and Proctor make it. Please say book 2 is coming!!!
