Ancient Greece Starter pack

Ancient Greece is one of the units in the new Cambridge Primary History series, which covers the Study Units identified by the revised national curriculum at key stage 2. Each unit in the series is written around a main historical enquiry and provides pupils with the knowledge, concepts and skills to complete their investigation. Ancient Greece uses the Olympic Games as a means of exploring different facets of life in the ancient world. Many important aspects of life are revealed, ranging from religion, art and architecture to trade, theatre and the relationships between the city states. This gives pupils a clear picture of what was important to the ancient Greeks, and the nature of their daily life.
