अदरक का स्वाद

“Adrak ka Swaad” (literal translation: Taste of Ginger) is an expression which is used figuratively to describe experiences or phenomenon that are unique and therefore almost impossible to comprehend or explain. Told from the perspective of animals inhabiting Nirala forest (who worship human-beings as the supreme power), this story is a socio-political commentary which scrutinizes topics such as humanity, faith, selfishness, politics and social behavior.


अलंकारिक रूप में “अदरक का स्वाद” किसी ऐसी वस्तु, बात या अनुभव को कहा जाता है, जिसे समझ पाना और समझा पाना लगभग असंभव हो। यह कहानी निराला वन के पशु-पक्षियों की है, जो मनुष्य को ईश्वर मान कर पूजते हैं। कहानी के माध्यम से मानवता, आस्था, स्वार्थ, राजनीति एवं सामाजिक व्यवहार जैसे विषयों का सूक्ष्म-परीक्षण किया गया है।
