Suffering is something that affects all of us at one time or another in our life.
Gumbel speaks of how for the most part suffering is caused by sin. Not necessarily your own sin but the sin of others.
God using suffering to draw us to Christ. God uses suffering to build our character. God is with us in our suffering.
This little book gives some good thoughts along with providing some scripture references and book references.
