Vampires, demons and witches! I love to write about these dark entities and the darker the better. My characters are plunged into worlds where they experience torture and mayhem, but even in a world of darkness, true love survives. I write both, sci-fi, contemporary and historical paranormal stories.

In this Magic, New Mexico series novella, dragon shifter Rhain is working for his obsessive father, Ian, and a cruel voodoo priestess in order to find a magical amulet.
Sunshine is part dragon but doesn’t have the ability to shape shift. After a witch tasks Sunshine and Rhain for an urgent mission—they have to save the lives of three sisters who are fated mates to three unborn dragons—she has no choice but to trust Rhain with her life.
I really liked Sunshine and Rhain. They were strong, intelligent, and personable characters.
A little bit of background info… Several authors are writing for the Magic, New Mexico series and are creating their own mini-series within the larger group set. This book sets up the next three books to come in Ms. Guida’s individual series. After a little bit of research online, I realized the dragons in this story are from the same race of dragons in another series from Ms. Guida. Even though I haven’t read those books, I wasn’t confused reading this novella. The amount of world building was kept to a minimum, but there was enough to keep me interested.
There are, however, some loose ends/unanswered questions. Why did Marta abandon Theo, and what’s going to happen now that she’s back? How did Ian and the priestess escape the town? With luck, these questions and more will be cleared up in later books.
This story needs an edit to fix misplaced commas, misspellings, and the wrong form of a word being used, and to add in missing words. Content and plot-wise, everything flowed well. The pacing is fast and kept driving the narrative.
Overall, I enjoyed this story for the characters and plot.

I loved it! I am going to reread these many times I'm sure. I just love how I keep reading until the end then wonder how I finished it so fast. Something about them seem to keep me hooked & probably will for a lone time. They are just great!

I was a little slow getting into the story but once I got further into it I really enjoyed it. This is a fascinating mix of science fiction and paranormal.

Touch of the Dragon review

I like the series; however, there is a lot of grammatical error throughout the text. These errors made it jumpy and not a smooth read!

An amazing story about time travel and saving dragons in Magic, New Mexico

Theo and Gwen adopted sunshine when she was an egg. Sunshine was only born 5 years ago and had an accelerated rate even for a dragon. She carries and amulet that an alien sorcerer dragon wants. This sorcerer Dragon son, Rhain tries to get the amulet for his father. But his father is evil.

Sunshine is sent through Time to Scotland's past along with Rhain. They are tasked with finding the three mates to the dragon shifters. But along with all the problems they have including escaping Rhain's father. Will they fall for the mate bond in spite of their world differences, save the dragons along with their mates, and find their way back to Magic?

These characters are unique, funny at times, stubborn, and relatable. The plot is fast-paced time-traveling drama with romance, and a villain included.

There's some more additional characters that are in this town of Magic, New Mexico. I love the fact that there are different stories from different authors about this town. That makes it so fascinating to collect and read these books.

Very highly recommended for a fascinating series about a town that I would love to live in. I would have a difficult time choosing a character to be. What would you choose?

I love the stories in Magic, New Mexico...This one is really good...Sunshine has grown into a beautiful young woman and powerful with the amulet. Rhain is tired of his father's obsession with the amulet! He thought his father wanted it to bring life back to their planet but he found out something different. Definitely recommend this..it's the start of a good series.

Loved this book. They started off as enemies and eventually became fated mates. They are sent on an almost impossible quest that they won’t be able to survive without the support of each other. Can’t wait for the next book in this new series.
