This is the first book that I have read in the Across State Lines series and I really enjoyed it. Maddy has to get away from her abusive boyfriend. She packs up everything she has and runs. Maddy finds her way to Amish country and begins looking for a place to rent. She finds a place but unsure about it as it is a loft above a barn. The landlord, John, has his own demons to demolish. As Maddy and John begin to spend time together, they learn to like each other but will their demons rise above what they are beginning to feel for each other. Loved the setting and pace of the story. Will be reading more of this series.

Romance Across State Lines takes the reader on a road trip around the USA, where the differences between the lifestyle are highlighted. No two people could be more different than city born Maddy and John Cooper with his slow-talking and steady country ways. However, there is something that each of them need as they are both trying to find their feet after lost relationships. Maddy left hers voluntarily, but John is still grieving the loss of his wife. Together they find their way towards a new future, but their differences are not easy to overcome. The novel is sweet and clean and leaves one smiling. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Pennsylvania Passion is book 7 in the Romance Across State Lines series. It is a standalone story and I am very happy we have 50 states! This sweet and clean romance pulls you right in. It is a wonderful story with likable characters and a well developed plot. It touches on the Amish in beautiful Lancaster County and weaves some of their culture into the story. “Pennsylvania Passion” by Debbie White
This is a sweet contemporary romance. I enjoyed my time in Lancaster County with Maddy and John. This is an easy reading story. One you can take with you and spend time in when you are cooling your heels in a wait state. Or, you can devour in large helpings, maybe as your after-dinner treat. Happy Reading ! !

A sweet, clean, small town romance

A story not just of falling in love but of being accepted.
Having the love of someone who can heal the hurt from your past and make your future bright and full of purpose. A definite must read which will leave you with a smaller on your face.

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. The Amish life is one not everyone understands. This one about John and Maddy and how they both deal with what is handed to them in life. It is a page turner you just cannot put down.

I really enjoyed reading Pennsylvania Passion. Maddy's mobile grooming business allows her the freedom to leave the city for some quality time in the country. A widowed farmer becomes her landlord. These two wounded people slowly bond as they work to overcome their hurt. The characters are interesting and the story is well written. If you like clean romances, you will want to read this book!
