What’s better than a children’s book about friendly pirates? A book about pirates and a cute baby dragon!

The story is fun and perky, just perfect for first-readers. The illustrations are wonderfully colorful and attractive, just what it takes to keep youngsters’ attention.

I recommend this highly to all beginning readers and their parents.

Captain Blownaparte and the Little Dragon is a lovely story about an adorable little dragon. When Captain Purplebeard steals a dragon and sends it to Captain Blownaparte's ship he hopes that the ship will be burnt with little dragons fire but little dragon has other ideas.

This is a really sweet story that is lots of fun. It's nice to see how little dragon finds it being on the ship with all the pirates and exciting to see what happens when his mum unexpectedly turns up leaving the pirates worried.

The illustrations are very eye catching and great for pirate fans to enjoy. Little dragon is adorable and seeing him and what he gets up to were some of the best illustrations in the book. It would have been nice if the pictures were on the same page as the text, as it is quite long but I understand this is the way a lot of kindle books are laid out.

This is a great book that is lots of fun, with good pirates, bad pirates and dragons it makes for a brilliant pirate themed story!

A fun and fiery pirate story!

This brightly coloured book and fun -filled pirate adventure story, is bound to be a big hit with young children-especially this one out of the series, as it includes an extremely cute baby dragon!
Meet the funny and loveable Captain Blowaparte, who discovers a dragons egg about to hatch aboard his ship. He quickly becomes very fond of the little fireball, even though it causes a lot of fiery chaos to start with …however, mummy dragon has also found her missing baby too… will he be turned to toast or will the he survive and do the right thing? You’ll just have to read it to find out.
Complete with hilarious and captivating illustrations that emphasise the plot- this book is great fun for all the family to read.

I received this book as part of an ARC review. It is a moral tale where good deeds are rewarded and bad ones are punished. The story line is good and so is the artwork. In the end, everyone is happy except the bad guys.
