Lacey Heart is a book and latte lover. Both reading and writing are her passions, lattes are her life source. Offer her either of the above and you'll be friends for life.
Lacey was born and raised in Manchester, U.K and she still resides there today with her amazing friends and beautiful family.
The 'author' has some serious issues with women and women who have sex. Every single woman in this is called a bitch, a slut, a whore by almost every person in it. There is nothing at all redeemable about either of the main characters, both are ridiculous and extremely childish. The writing is all over the place, one second they are in the bedroom but the next second they are in the kitchen and it's a few pages before it's brought up that these are two different events, the latter happening the next day. There are typos all over the place, and it's written like the diary of an immature teenage girl with serious internalised misogyny. Sexist, slut shaming and badly written.
I seriously am beyond annoyed and frustrated at this point. How can you write practically two novels talking about this big dark secret and never even reveal what it’s about. This is super annoying. The main characters are a bunch of whining immature adults that can’t be open and honest about anything. I don’t understand how the author thought this was a good idea for a book. Not to mention the fact that there are so many errors throughout the book. You would think with today’s technology that there would be less errors in both grammar and spelling but no. The author also loves to end this books on a cliffhanger, which is cool and all but I just wish there would be some kind of explanation for all the stupid secrets and stuff.
Colby Carter is the save ruthless sinister bad boy and every girl's dirty secret . Gosh!! He is the gasoline and Willow was the fire that ignited the inferno ... I throughly enjoyed their stories although I would request the author to elaborate the sex scenes and the lust quotient coz that helps in understanding and moving with the pace of the warmth , other than that I am enjoying the story and I am badly for the suspense to be unfolded about why Colby left Redland .. and why is it all related with Willow's mother and Willow . Can't wait for Bully me Then to release
When finishing the first book and I had a ton of questions. At least in this one some where answered. I will say this doesn't feel like a bully romance to me. All Willow says is Colby bullied her but that's it.
Ok, I'm still a little lost but I guess that's why there is more than one book. I'm still definitely addicted to this story and excited for the next book.
I wish these stories were longer. Books one and two definitely should have been one book. That said, I am enjoying this storyline and look forward to reading more.
I'm more annoyed with the fact that so far these books all could have easily fit into one or two books. Not to mention the way the books just end almost like an incomplete thought.
Bully Me Then is book two in the Bully Me series by author Lacey Heart. It follows Colby the bad boy who returns to town after being gone for six long years and Willow his sisters’ best friend and the bane of his existence. Willow could not be more annoyed to learn that the infamous Colby is back and that he is determined to make her life hell.
This book is a great continuation of this series and you get to delve into the main characters backstory a bit more, however, there remains a lot of unanswered questions. The push and pull between Colby and Willow is constant and there is a lot of tension and angst. Overall this book was an enjoyable read, however, there remains a lot of unanswered questions that leave a lot to be desired.
