Why does Prani feel she has disappointed the Gems? Prani is the comedian of the Gems. She never takes anything too seriously, even netball, and loves having fun with her teammates. But when Coach Janet enters the Gems in a netball tournament and asks them to use set plays, everything changes. Now that there are more rules on the court, Prani can't move like she used to and begins to feel that she is letting the rest of the team down. Will Prani be able to find a way to continue playing her fun and fluid style of netball?

Netball Gems is Lisa and Bernadette’s second published series of netball books. Their earlier series consisted of four books aimed at girls in the 9-13 age range. Lisa is an academic specialising in child health and well-being. She is married with a 19 year old son and two stepsons, one in primary and one in secondary school.
I think it was a very good book. If you like netball I would suggest it for you. But if you don't like netball you may not like it as much. It is based on a player on the netball team the Marrang gems, It is about building teamwork\friendship and netball. It is part of the series Netball Gems. If you love netball or just want to learn about it, I would recommend reading it. I think all ages could read this but I would suggest this book is best for 8-12 year olds.
