Agustina is visiting Argentina with her parents and annoying little brother when she has a supernatural experience. Will she escape or be forever entombed in "La ciudad de los muertos"?
I did not want to put this story down when I read it! It is written in very comprehensible Spanish (past tense) with occasionally footnoted vocabulary for easy access so you can jump back into the story. Set in Argentina, it incorporates many cultural references seamlessly woven throughout the plot. The story is intriguing, carefully crafted, eerie, and creepy! Students of Spanish who enjoy reading mysteries or thrillers will love this story, and will learn about Argentina along the way.
