Wow! What a Book!
This book was an in-your-face reality check about what and who you're following. Is it Jesus or men and women who've sold out His kingdom to build their own? I appreciate an author who tells it like it is and uses scripture to back up his claims and reminds of hope,in the devastation and discouragement. This book shook me, inspired me, brought tears of repentance and then joy to my heart. I loved it and can't wait to read it again!

Excellent book by Mario Murillo.
He definitely knows the day and time in which we live today.
At the time of my review, the Corona Virus is in full effect here in the USA. Although Mario does not specifically name this pandemic, he has identified the "season" of what we are currently witnessing. Amazing, since he had to have written this book at least one or more years prior to this day.
Yes, the Word of God is alive and many will just say "it is a coincidence." I don't believe in "coincidences."
You need to get this book. It is highly applicable to this day and time and describes the "next generation of Preachers" that the Lord is calling to the forefront in this nation.

Mario has written a book that could only be Holy Spirit inspired, for it has been written for such a time as this.
A time when America is at its Alamo, its Gettysburg. A time when the battle for America's soul has never been more desperate and more fierce.
This is defining book for those called. This book is a firebrand.
In this book Mario lays out where we are as the Church in America and where we need to go. He lays out clear solutions and what God is doing in those called by His name. He has written with a clear prophetic voice.
Do you see what is desperately wrong and feel a need, a burden to be a part of the solution? Then this is for you. Otherwise, pretenders need not apply.

The pastor of our charismatic non-denominational church gave everyone a copy of this book for Christmas last year. My husband and I have a pretty busy schedule, so we really haven't had time to read it until we went on a road trip traversing two states by car. I read it aloud while we were driving and during short spurts on weekends thereafter.
This is a small book of only about 145 pages, but the subject matter is deep. True to Mario Marillo's preaching style, it's
prophetic, to the point and brutally blunt. We could only read a few chapters in one sitting, since it hits you hard.
There are three sections in this book. The first talks about the "godsend" we are all waiting and praying for to turn around the nation and this broken society we're living in. The second section tells how the church of America has actually contributed to the desperate situation in which we find ourselves. And the third talks about what it's going to take to receive the move of God we need.
If you are looking for a nice little "rah rah" book to make you feel good, this is not for you. It'll cost you to read this. You're going to be confronted with your sins and short-comings and challenged to give up everything for what really matters. But if you're desperate to see real transformation in yourself, the church at large, and ultimately our culture, then buckle up, hold onto your hat and get ready for the ride!

Every word written in Vessels of Fire Glory was inspired by the Holy Ghost. Empowering read that can be a little critical
Empowering book that calls us back to holiness and to the Holy Spirit. It especially encourages those of us who have been obeying God in the secret places of our lives and waiting for His promises without trying to push our own agenda.
Murillo has an authoritative, domineering writing style that can be a bit critical, but he is mainly talking to leaders who may need a swift whack from the rod of discipline. However, if you are secure in your identity in Christ and have a good awareness of both your strengths and weaknesses, you don’t have to feel insecure.
The landscape of the Church is changing. God wants His people to be about His business, not simply church business. Christians are no longer satisfied with a powerless Church and motivational sermons. We want to experience the presence of the Living God. God loves us, and He wants us to be a part of His purposes.

Have you ever felt like you needed a kick in the behind in your spiritual life? More so, have you ever felt like the American church at large needs a kick in the rear to get us where God wants us? Well, luckily for you, Mario Murillo's got a pair of spiritual steel-toe boots in the form of a book just primed and ready for you to open the first page and get launched into the spiritual reality you, me, and all of us so desperately need at this time!
This book is more than just a kick though. Mario Murillo delivers an inspiring, convicting, and shockingly relevant account of where America is at spiritually, how we got here, and how we can get to a better spiritual promised land, just as the reformers and revivalists of time past have.
Nothing is new under the sun, and there isn't any amount of evil in our culture or any culture that can intimidate God or overpower the Holy Spirit, especially when He is poured out. We can and we must ransack the gates of heaven through our prayers and kick down the gates of hell through our actions and regain our rightful place in the spiritual realm for our nation.
Just as Mario Murillio acknowledges the influence and impact of alternative/conservative figures like Ben Shapiro and Jordan Petersen, he also acknowledges that they are not enough to see the tides turn for good in our nation. Revival and awakening have always been in our grasp, especially given that God specifically says in Joel 2 that in the "latter days" He will "pour out His Spirit on ALL flesh" and that is just as true today as it was in the book of Acts.
Awakening is not just possible, but I believe it is available. Awakening is not just a good or even great idea, it is our only option. The notion of an entire generation never experiencing revival or being impacted by the power of God is not just frightening, but tragic and should invoke a sorrow in us that infuses our prayers with more compassion than we know what to do with. That is the heart of God and the heart of revival, its not about what we can experience, but about others being touched by our awesome God who never does anything less than awesome.

Sometimes God sends me a scripture or a book to confirm my thoughts and feelings. After the church I have attended since the early 1980s changed leadership several years ago, men’s ministries, women’s ministries, and Sunday adult classes were all eliminated and only one message has been preached- something the pastor calls scandalous grace. For several years my husband and I knew we should leave but one sermon several weeks ago really caused us concern when the church started redefining doctrinal terms to fit in with their narrative. As Mario says, “You should be suspicious of any movement that always talks about the same thing. If you isolate a single truth to the exclusion of all others, you can turn it into a lie. That is why Martin Luther gave his pastors the requirement to preach every biblical doctrine within a year.”

Murillo releases a clarion call to the Body of Christ! I was challenged to come up higher in my walk with the Lord. This though-provoking novel is a must read!

A Must Read
This book spoke to me. I myself feel the Holy Spirit working in me. I would recommend all Christians to trade this book. Its a real eye opener, and truly explains what we need to do to receive the Holy Spirit. It is certainly not for the faint of heart. Prepare your eyes and heart to be opened.

Important Book to Read
I choose this rating because everything he wrote fealt like what I am seeing happen to our country. We need to rise up and become a tool for God. I would recommend this book to my Paster. He is one of the best pastors you will meet and knows America needs help to fight the evil.

This book was a personal prophetic word to me and a clarion call to a dying church. It was an answer to a stirring I have had for about two years. It’s the answer to our culture which is on a fast crash course. Strongly recommend this book.

This book addresses what we've been seeing these past few years that no one dared to talk about. These are the very reasons why a lot of churches have become irrelevant. It challenges discerning believers to confront evil and to believe that God has something in store in the future.
