Stars and Nightmares

Rate this book
A year after the previous events, with Alexander's menacing shadow, no longer lingering over their heads. The members of the Stark and Bloom clans are gathered at the Connecticut mansion for a well-deserved vacation. New members are welcomed with open arms, but, unbeknown to the family, one of them has secrets locked behind tightly sealed doors. And a deadly enemy is hellbent on destroying everyone.

In their game of greed and power, Julianna and Antonia, helped by the shabby duo of lawyers, Weldon and Williamson, are capable of anything to achieve their supreme goal: world domination. Conroy does everything to help them, even if this means changing the rules of the game, mixing black magic elements in with his experiments.

Supernatural creatures cross the border between the Otherworld and the human realm, taking sides in the ultimate confrontation between the Dragons' House and those sworn to take it down. Decisions, magic, love, destiny. Who will fall, and who will stay standing? Will, the stars of the future, shine brightly in the sky, or will they be swallowed by the nightmares of the past?

WHAT A MAGNIFICENT JOURNEY!!!

This is Book #5 in the DRAGON'S HOUSE SERIES. The finale. I'm hoping that this book satisfied all the fans like it did me. This is an EXTRAORDINARY Series, written by Two very talented writers. H.M. Wolfe and EL Nelson, this dynamic duo has taken us from the depths of depravity to the highest highs of love. In this BOOK especially we get to see deserved JUSTICE, to two very deserving MONSTERS. This is a story of highs, lows, love and new beginnings. This is about forgiveness, understanding and accepting, when you find others are different than you are. About love, respect and honor. AND there is still so much to be explored. This has a FANTABULOUS EPILOGUE!!! This book, so it says is to close up loose ends to a FANTASTIC journey so far. I can only hope that the journey continues with the younger generation. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS MAGNIFICENT SERIES!!!!!!

I loved reading about my favorite couple, Ardan and Alasdair. They are very sweet together and I also enjoyed some of the new elements in their lives. I enjoyed the way all of the family members give each other support and is obvious how much love there is between all of them. That being said, this is the instalment that made me struggle the most. This is due to the magical elements recently add to the plot, which I don’t think it fits too well. It might be only my perception, and I guess people who like paranormal stories might like it. But, to me, didn’t worked.

Good

For the final book the action continues on in much same way as the other books but now includes magic good & bad. The ends were quite well brought together but with still a few questions left. I felt the writing of this entire series was quite childlike in places & seemed disjointed in places. I would recommend reading this series but I did find it tough going as there are a lot of characters & their stories to keep track of. Xx

What an ending to a dynamic series! Emotional, engaging, suspenseful, and so much more! Stars & Nightmares is the final book in the Dragons' House series, and it was the perfect way to end a roller coaster of a ride. The authors put us through a gambit of emotions and experience over 5 books, and it ended here...at least this series did. I loved everything about the whole series: the characters, the plot, the situations, and the romance. I will tell you that if you want to read this one, you need to start with book one since this is not a standalone, but you won't be disappointed. Book 5 won't leave you wanting more, no cliff-hanger, but it is hard to say goodbye to characters you have fallen in love with. Great job. I highly suggest you one-click this 5 star read today!

Oh sweet goodness in heaven this book was so complex and encompassing in giving us a whole and extremely complex view on the all the events.
We add a layer of magic where good and evil, that wants chaos and world domination, have a fight of wills and strength and in doing that reveals the hidden ambitions and the cruelty of the evil ones.
We get to know more about Dom/sub dynamics and how some of them found their happiness in the style forming loving families.
We assists at suffering lead by greed and power, we see the tragic ends of some of the enemies and the rise of ones that are more powerful, the reunion between lost relatives and the formation of new bonds lead by love and trust.
We see the power of love at work, addition of new life, some wanted and cherished pregnancies, the wonders in the medical field that changes life for better in giving hope where there was only resignation.
Our good characters are put to the test, evil forces trying to get them apart, greed tries to poison innocent minds, and bad magic tries to get the upper hand.
It was an exhilarating read with a high dose of adrenaline, mystery, action that keeps you on the edge until the end of the story. I'm looking forward to see what happens next with our beloved characters.

This is the 5th and final book on the Dragon House series. I do recommend that you read then in order to have full understanding of the Starks & Blooms. They are slowing drawing out their enemies but some time the cost is high. The emotional journey we have taken with all the characters you feel like you know them. as they say all good things comes to end and this series end on a very high note. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES MUST READ TODAY..

A magical journey that I am really sad to see end but it was the perfect way to this emotional ride. I absolutely loved the characters and the storyline. I’m super bummed this series is coming to a close but the epilogue was epic and tied up all of the lose end. I can’t wait to see what these authors have in store for us next!!
