This was not bad. Not good.....but not bad. There is no in-depth analysis of why and how things happened in this war. But was chockful of information pertaining to different aspects and topics regarding this major event. I loved the numerous sidebars that covered interesting topics of the WWI...also known as the Great War. Shell shock, Zeppelin bombing, flying aces, use of nerve gas, war characters....all very interesting things to learn about this war. All this from over a hundred years ago. I knew of WWI veterans when I was much younger. It was still a thing to study at school. Now it seems like such a distant past.
