Escape to the Pacific Northwest, where magic and mountains meet murder and mayhem.

When a vampire is murdered in Mt. Rheanier, Ali is fine with leaving the solving of the crime to the authorities. After all, she didn't even know the victim. But when his family approaches her looking to hire her to find the killer, Ali finds herself embroiled in yet another investigation.

But between Willow being worried Ali's going to get hereself killed, the local enforcers not being pleased about Ali sticking her nose into their case, and Grandma Rosie acting even more strangely than usual, Ali quickly realizes she's wading into some pretty deep waters.

As she gets closer to finding the killer, strange things start happening to Ali, and she starts to be convinced they're not quite a coincidence. Someone really doesn't want her to solve this case, but that only fuel's Ali's fire. It's a race to find the killer before the killer gets to her, and Ali is always up for a challenge. But is this finally one she can't win?

Potion Sickness is the third book in the Pacific North Witches series of humorous paranormal cozy mystery novels.

Potion Sickness is Book 3 in the Pacific North Witches Series.

A local young vampire is murdered and Ali has no intention of getting involved until the victim's parents come knocking wanting to hire her to find the murderer.

Meanwhile in the world of Grandma Rosie , she is entering the annual pie competition and her arch nemesis is causing all kinds of chaos. OMG I love Grandma Rosie, she is such a great part of this series.

I also LOVE Vinnie, Ali's goat familiar.

The mystery is well written and multi layered. I NEVER would of guessed the murderer.

Fun, well rounded characters and a perfectly paced murder mystery make for another great read!

Can't wait for the next book in this series!

Grand mother rose is acting strange, well- more that her normal strange. As Ali starts looking into it, she is hard pressed to find anyone who didnt like the "young" vampire. He was well liked, worked in the family business learning the ropes to take over when his family retired. Volunteered at the local Vampire Blood bank. Ali get sucked into Grandmother Rose's Bake off Pie Contest she has won it 7 years in a row. One of her grandmother's Enemies is bragging that she is going to win that rose has cheated for all these years. Ali defended her Grandmother, a misdriected hex caused a hex and spells fight. Ali keeps trying to make sure granny behaves, Willow her best friend helps her-Ali with solving the murder-her new familiar Vinny won't go near the vampire case-Helping her sister with her new management issue with one of her employee's. This is a twisted, hard to put down adventure. The ending is a nice twist!

Exploding pies and flying food.

A light, easy read cozy about the murder of a vampire as he slept. Our FMC is trying to think up ways to earn money so that she can buy her mother a show house and has no intention of getting involved. No intention until she's offered a large amount to find the killer.
As she looks into the life of the mild mannered vampire she finds several people had a gripe. He wanted humans turned to allow 'new blood' into the declining vampire population. A move not welcome by many. Then there is his love life. Two girlfriend's! Plus he had gone to see an accountant - why? Is there a problem at his family business? Plus Gran Rose is getting ready for the annual pie bake off. Her nemesis wants to fight dirty. Will she find the killer? What will happen at the pie competition?

Fun

This is a fun storyline of a witch solving murders in a paranormal town. The characters are interesting but So seems a little immature. A quick read. I'm looking forward to more.

Proofread?

Throughout this book the character Jack is referred to as Jake. Or is it Jake being referred to as Jack? Really quite confusing, but shouldn't this error have been caught before publication?

Great story

I docked a star because there were a few grammatical errors including Jack being called Jake for some time but otherwise its enjoyable.

The side story was just as entertaining as the main plot. Gloria is one angry witch! Another murder is solved by our clever heroine!

The plot was fine, but the constant flip-flopping of one of the character's name was really irritating. Needs an editor!!!!

Fun tales

I enjoy these books, but again, inconsistencies and typos make me wonder if there is any editing or proof reading going on before they get published.
