I just love Shayne's writing. Her love scenes are so hot! The anticipation leading up to them is out of this world. She makes all the m/c hot and alpha and you just want to be the h. I agree with another reader about the prelude and foreplay! Just so hot, hot, hot! If you have not read any of Shayne's books, you are missing out big time. Highly recommend these!!!

WICKED TWISTED & STORMY!
Cat and mouse battle of words was the prelude to the foreplay for Remi and Esme that constantly had me grinning or cringing from one darn chapter to the next I was on edge trying to figure out what way the story was headed only to be shut down shivering sent hurling in an damnn different direction. Feeling the cold hard truth work it's way through the well executed storyline that got under my skin creating a love hate relationship for fickle playing Remi as he baits Esme and leaves her dangling. I was feeling the high of excitement for Esme and than stripped to the core as the reality of the truth resignated from Remi's words had me irritated and wounded for Esme. A definite rollercoaster of emotions plagued the stormy storyline. The cliffy ending was a bit warm and had me riding an erotic high that had me out of my ever lovin mind and exploding with excitement and delirious for more as my pent of frustrations this fantasic series has finally eased the ache and given me a taste of Mr. Dark & Stormy Remi that I have been craving a delicious bite of making every grin and cringe of frustration so damnn worth the wait. Bring on the next book I'm so darn ready and please, please don't make me wait.

Remi’s Secret: A Night of Diamonds Book 3 by Shayne Ford. Eagerly awaiting this book and I was up all night reading (I just couldn’t put it down). I was so mesmerized by this story and characters, I just kept thinking one more page and before I knew it-BAM! book ended and here I am again in AWE of this author and her talents. I love reading Shanye Ford stories! I almost wish I didn’t read this one so fast because now I must wait for next book. I found the story line captivating and intense. I love a good tragic love story. This one is filled with dark and sensual romance and I highly recommend this book and author to others.

Another great book to the series! This is the continuing dark, intense romance with strong characters in Remi and Esme. The author once again does a fantastic job developing the story line and pulling you in with all the drama,suspense and secrets ,keeping you on the edge , adding in the twists and leaves you with wanting more with the cliffhanger ending. She brings it to life with her vividly painted scenes and captured and held me right to the end. Highly recommend this book/series.

I’m enjoying the continuation of Esme and Remis story and am looking forward to the next one. Remis motives are still to figure out but he has Esme just as confused. He’s literally a rollercoaster of ups and downs and Esme is being tainted by his erratic behavior but is still firmly against in his grip.

An addicting read!

We got more questions than answer in this newest addition to an addicting series. Remi just makes me want to pull my hair, but his chemistry with Esme sizzles as she tries to find answers. I couldn’t stop reading once I started and when I reached the last page with the steamy ending I wanted more. Can’t wait to see what happens next!

Remi is still a mystery to Esme and to me. Sometimes I wonder why he is so mysterious. What is he hiding? I want to shake him and make him tell me! So frustrating! Esme seems to be learning more about herself. Its like she is maturing. I really enjoyed this book. The description and the writing is really great. I cannot wait until I read the next one.

This just gets better and better. Remi has confronted Esme for following him. She doesn't deny it but now the pieces are falling into place. She's forming in her own way. Their last encounter was by accident after she comes out of a sex shop. He invites her to dinner. Now the games began . She wants answers and he's still talking in riddles or so it seems. He's giving her clues and answering questions that she should already have the answers for. If I tell you this series will have you binge reading believe it.

The Man Who Will Not be Owned

I love Shayne Ford’s covers especially in the Night of the Diamond series, well done designer of the cover! Once again this wonderful author has left us with a fantastic cliff hanger, leaving me with my tongue hanging out for book 4 to arrive!
Who are these people who commission Esme’s modelling photographic sessions, who will pay more for erotic shots, and does she really want to earn money this way? Why is Esme drawn to Kiara so much?
Hell would be her choice obviously, if Esme ever does fall for Remi those are his rules no matter what the cost to her! Esme is now trying to play Dominigue, Cameron and Remi at their own game with her sensual, seductive remarks, go Esme!! Who is Remi this unattainable, untameable man?
Life for Esme is changing exponentially every day, the beautiful butterfly will soon be emerging from its cocoon! What doesn’t Remi want Esme to see, Will they both ever reach their journeys end? Esme just has to follow her instincts!
Why is Remi preparing Esme for a broken heart 💔 will Esme find his achille’s heel so that she can really hear him and see him?

Still full of mysteries
The characters are still mysterious, hot and exciting
This third part seems to carry the reader as much as the heroine. She does not know what she wants, does not understand what's going on, but wants to know what's next.
Esme is still splited toward Remi: on the one hand she is very attracted, she begins to understand that he is also helping her to find herself, but the way in which he has exposed her previously, creates both fear and arousing to her. At the same time, the photos as a model with the sulphurous and mysterious Kiara, inspires to Esme, only partial trust, but she decides to try it anyway.
Everyone's role is unclear and Esme seems to be the innocent toy of everything around her, and I felt like she was close to a drama without ever seeing it. There are twists, doubts, assumptions, but the unpredictable side of the characters creates an addictive reading because assumptions are rarely confirmed.

What a complicated, intense, rollercoaster of mystery, intrigue, and emotions Shayne Ford has delivered. Remi is seemingly giving all the answers to Esme's questions and yet they don't answer the questions that Esme and I have in our minds. There's an undercurrent that I've yet to figure out and still no answers where Dominique and Cameron are concerned. Now, I'm wondering about the butler as well. How does he fit into things. From what I've read so far and past experience, I know Ms. Ford is going to continue to string my emotions along. My job, besides experiencing everything she's beautifully laid out for me, is trying to figure out exactly what "game" Remi is playing and/or what secrets he's hiding. I tip my hat to you Shayne, this one has definitely set my emotions and nerves alight while fully engaging my thought process. I hope I'm up to the challenge you've laid out.

OMG!!!!!! I'm still shaking from reading the latest addition of Remi and Olive's story. Book three is going to take you on a wild ride and it's going to be awhile before you recover probably just in time for book four. You can expect the heat between Remi and Olive to reach volcanic eruption level (Pun Intended). Be warned the cliffhanger is a doozy 😋 Shayne sure knows how to rattle even the calmest person with her books.

I'm loving this series. This is the third book in Remi and Esme's ongoing story. The chemistry just keeps getting hotter and the tension keeps increasing as the story picks up. Secrets, jaw-dropping twists and edge of your seat drama will quickly pull you back into this thrilling storyline and have you desperately needing more once the last page is read. I am beyond intrigued with the mystery that is Remi. The door is cracked juuust barely enough to see the man he keeps hidden. Esme is on a journey that is terrifying and tantalizing at the same time. While normally I love the seduction that Shayne puts in her books, I'm steadily losing interest in this story as nothing is really happening. The only points of interest here are Esme's new line of work, her strange attraction to Kiara, Remi's "confession", & the escalation of Remi & Esme physical relationship. I may be on the shallow end of the pool here but the story is starting to really drag in an unpleasant way even with the fluid & eloquent way it's written. Not too sure if I want to continue this serial.

I'm getting the sense that this girl is not only lacking self-awareness & boundaries, but also actually a bit dimwitted/stupid. She's literally setting herself up to be a social media porn star & it hasn't yet "clicked" for her? Like come the hell on? Also, really, you just go in & start taking pics & rolling around in the hay with the girl you barely know. She's still a stranger & her 1st thought is, "yeah, why not, she's a girl. Nothing bad can come of it" 🤦🏻‍♀️I really habe no idea how this author wrote this girls character with a straight face. Or she was written to he 15 rather than 21 cause it's clear that "there's no one home upstairs".

Ugh, this girl is a walking, desperate embarrassment. It's so difficult to read some scenes, like her literally falling him around, tailing his car, creeping on him & his friends. It screams desperate & moronic. I'm not finding it all too romantic on her end. If anything, I feel sorry for her & not the good kind. If this series doesn't pick up soon & make her not look like a complete idiot, I'm dnf the series.

Ugh, she's so desperate to be special. It's pathetic & sad. Gross.

Waste of time

I would not recommend this series at all!!! Editing was horrible. No substance at all. I couldn't make it past a couple chapters of this book. A ton of series out there that are better than this series.
