The Dark Multiverse takes on the highest-selling comic book event of all time-the Death of Superman! In a broken world much like our own, Lois Lane, twisted by rage and grief, becomes the Eradicator and takes revenge on those who let Superman die, and the corrupt world he could never defeat. Now, with the power of a god, she’s going to end the battle by any means necessary…and the Reign of the Supermen will be over before it begins!
Imagine Lois Lane stopped taking her meds after Superman died and became a SuperPsycho.
I think I would like these more if I cared about the events they were based off of, but Death of Superman and Knightfall are two events I could not give less of a fuck about if I tried. Maybe the Blackest Night one will be better, since at least I somewhat like that event.
Set in the Dark 52 universe that were everything bad happens did happen. This is a What if scenario during the Death of Superman Arc and rise of the Supermen where our beloved Journalist receive the power of a Kryptonian and write her own brand of justice.
Alterate Dark Multiverse story of the famed Death of Superman, where a dark 'What If' that could've happen, happened. Lois Lane somehow became Superwoman after Superman's death, and in her despair, grief and anger she crossed the line from giving hope to terror. Not bad for a quick 54-page one shot, but because of such short length the development was too fast and the end was abrupt. The story was emotional but there's no resolution. Its like everything bad that could happened, happened, very fast, and then The End. Overall left a 'meh' taste. Its okay, but nothing very interesting.
This is probably one of the best multiverse DC stories I’ve read, it was super emotional and having just reread Death of Superman this year it hit way hard
In an alternate reality, after Superman died at the hands of Doomsday, Lois begins to blame humanity for not appreciating what they had. Then she gains super powers and get even madder at the world.
Okay well, that was kind of badass actually! She’s like Batman, Superman, and the Punisher all mixed together. I liked this much more than I was prepared to. Only problem is it’s sort of 30 years too late! The only people that really remember the events of the Death of Superman are old dudes like me! This is basically the DC version of Marvel’s ‘What If?’ comics... which again, nobody knows what that is except old dudes like me. So it’s basically not a new idea, but it’s always fun to see a different take on a classic storyline! The ending sucked though...
This was a rather odd graphic novel in which Lois Lane becomes vindictive following the death of Superman. The artwork is fantastic and very similar to the style used in the Death of Superman story; however, I take exception to the thought that Lois would turn into a monster at the death of Superman rather than an even greater crusader for truth like she was before they ever met.
Read this thinking it was the first issue of Tales from the Dark Multiverse, but it's not, and honestly the other issues don't interest me (right now... may return to the series later).
As a standalone it was pretty good; Lois Lane is an underrated character and i loved her being in the spotlight here, becoming Eradicator and demanding justice from the people who let Superman die.
With a very dark ending. Lois as a despotic super “hero” bent on forcing the world to attain the impossible, a world without freedom of will. Sad and beautiful.
One caveat, Lois as the newly risen Eradicator, looks amazingly like Jean Grey in her first appearance as the Phoenix.
thats not a perfect story . they try to show us what she can do if superman died .but her character is not like this . She became a vigilante ,it can not be that so easily . but i must say all speeches were wonderful .

A quick read, very impactful. I liked how Lois became Superwoman and sought vengeance. It was surprisingly dark and gritty, I enjoyed this aspect of it. I’d recommend any fan of comics to read this.
