Summary Of Fluent Forever: How to Learn Any Language Fast and Never Forget It by Gabriel Wyner

Rate this book
IMPORTANT This is a Summary Of Fluent How to Learn Any Language Fast and Never Forget It by Gabriel Wyner and not the original book.

Learn how to learn languages, fast.
Why is learning a language such a struggle? It can feel like such a fight, between not forgetting new words, slaving through grammar rules, and tongue-twisting through pronunciation.
Fluent Forever aims to turn all those setbacks upside down. By bringing neuroscience together with tricks on pronunciation and memory, Gabriel Wyner makes learning a language less of a fight than a game. It becomes fun to use his tips, the same tips that allowed him to learn German in 14 weeks.
After reading through these blinks, you’ll also be able to attack new languages – or any memory challenge – with a much better chance at reaching your goals.
These book will teach
•How Google Images can help your word comprehension.
•Why DVD subtitles are evil.
•How Japanese people can learn to hear the difference between “rock” and “lock.”

I am constantly on that Duolingo and random-language-workbooks-found-in-a-second-hand-shop grind, trying to figure out how to keep languages inside my mind, where they belong. It's been a life-long struggle, but I really feel this book helped to clear at least some of the walls I have built up around my retention skills.
