FInally getting to write about my friend's first book. The Revised Edition is wonderful: Bruce's sequences, illustrated with quite detailed line drawings from photos (it's fun to see that the drawings are of Bruce -- and his lovely wife, Jana, and not generic line drawings) are really well thought-out, fun and quite comprehensive. It's spiral-bound format makes it super-easy to use while practicing!
I like that he's offered sequences from the Basic and Foundational through the Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced right up to the "how the hell am I ever going to do that" Advanced! After that, you're delighted that he also offers a Restorative practice!
One unique aspect of this book is Bruce's "modular" section, where he invites you to tailor your own practice -- kind of like a remix -- by choosing specific sequence modules and combining them into a full practice to fit your needs at any given time.
A short introduction to ujjayi and nadi shodhana pranayama rounds out this wonderful offering from Bruce.
