My daughter read this book first. I found it at the library for her and she liked it so much she decided to do a school project on cerebral palsy.

Sarah is 12 and she is confined to a wheelchair. She cannot speak but she can communicate using Blissymbols. She uses an electric wheelchair which she can control on her own. Sarah longs to be able to speak and walk like everyone else. She is most excited about going to the neighborhood middle school instead of the special school she has been attending. During the year, she makes several new friends and learns to confront things that frighten her.
