Imagine lying in bed Christmas Eve night, and being surprised by a visit from Santa Claus in your neighborhood, "Wait!" Who else is out there?" Find out in this fantastic tale set in rhyme, in one boy's eyewitness account of this magical night! This story is told from the little boys point of view in the first person, come along with him as he sees a UFO, old Saint Nick, a cute fur ball creature, and who knew Santa delivers packages to aliens as well. At the end of the book is concept art that you can see what the illustrator came up with prior to the final illustrations. Think about what magical scenes you might see on Christmas Eve night, if you couldn't sleep, due to excitement! Written by indie author Anthony Luke Hyslop, this clever story runs along the lines of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" by Clement Clarke Moore and "The Snowman" by Raymond Briggs.
A Sci-Fi Christmas is a fun story about a young boy who, as he's in bed on Christmas Eve, sees both Father Christmas in his sleigh and a spacecraft.
The story is very different than most Christmas stories I've read as it includes aliens in it but that makes it even more exciting and children love to see both aliens and Father Christmas. It's nice to see how Father Christmas interacts with the aliens as this is a nice twist in the story.
The illustrations are magical and it is great to see Christmas Eve through the young boys eyes and what he thinks of the situation. This is a lovely rhyming story that is unique and lots of fun to read for a sci-fi take on Christmas.
This rhyming story is reminiscent of Clement Moore’s classic story, but with an alien twist. It answers the question, “ Does Santa bring presents to everyone?”
