JUSTIN SLADE IS DEAD
When Baal launches a surprise attack against Justin and gang on Emily’s wedding day, Justin overuses his Apocryphan powers and nearly kills himself.
With his body clinging to life in a preservation spell, Justin is trapped in the afterlife. While there, he discovers that Baal’s plan to collapse the realms back into one world might not only kill billions, but also wipe out the souls of the dead.
Turning to old friends and enemies, Justin pools any resources he can and attempts to fight his way back to the land of the living. Can he make it in time to prevent Baal from locating the final Relics of Jura? Or will he be powerless to do anything but watch as the body count rises?

Nonstop action

So, Justin kicks the bucket in this book. He's not really dead, just mostly dead. Incredible adventures ensue in the afterlife and he's reunited with some folks who have actually died. Meanwhile, Baal is busy screwing up the living world and wars have broken out all over the globe. Too bad Justin is out of the picture.... Or is he? Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Brilliant!💜

This is one of my favorite books in this series. John Corwin always manages to make each book fresh, entertaining and exciting. A fantastic adventure with new and intriguing surprises. I was on the edge of my seat the entire book. Once again Austin Rising has captured these characters and really brings them to life. His narration is absolutely brilliant. This is book 18. I highly recommend this book/series.

Love the ending. I was worried there for a little bit that my favorite character was done for. Great comeback!

It was a pretty good story so far, but not really worth the five stars I was hoping to give it to him.

Addicted

Since starting these books I have devoured them. They are very hard to put down. If you have something to do, don’t start one. Haha

Justin can't be dead!!! They will need to pull some serious tricks to get him back, and work with some former enemies.
