“Chaos is the new world order.”
Humanity, on the brink of extinction. A fierce and powerful female protagonist, enhanced with vampire’s venom, is set out to destroy the one demon who had enslaved her and try to save what’s left of humanity at the same time. A turbulent world reduced to wastelands, dominated by vampires and their minions, the abominations thralls. Horrifying revelations, profound and emotive. This was a great story with exciting characters, lots of action, unexpected twists, and a thrilling ending. Fast paced and engrossing, my attention was held from beginning till the last page, I read it in one seat without realizing I had reached the end of the book! Looking forward to reading Crimson Thirst #2.

Amanda kicks some vampire butt. She has been bitten, but instead of turning, she has special powers and senses. She is on a mission to destroy Mathesis, the vampire who held her captive and fed on her.

A young woman Amanda has vampire blood running through her veins. She was a personal blood bag for the leader of a vampire clan, Mathesis for many years until the day she escaped. He took her as a child and fed off of her for many years never allowing any other vampire to feed from her.
After her escape she met a stranger, Lucian whom she teamed up with to hunt and kill vampires. They were on their way back to the city to a place that Amanda calls home for the moment when they learn of a vampire clan close by and that the vampires is planning on entering the city to wipe out humans or take control of them and the world.
Tainted Hunter is an introduction into a brand new world of vampires. Tainted Hunter follows Amanda and Lucian as they hunt for the vampires den while at the same time come up with a way to infiltrate their den upon arrival and try to figure out a way to stop the vampires as well before it is too late.
Amanda and Lucian race against the clock and the vampires to the city to warn the humans of the vampire’s intentions and hopefully save a lot of lives at the same time. Can they reach the city before the vampires? Can they save the human race from becoming extinct?
Tainted Hunter is filled with lots of action from the first page as Amanda and Lucian fight vampires and raiders alike. Tainted Hunter is a blood bath of goriness with enough twist and turns and suspense to keep the pages turning. Once I had Tainted Hunter in my hand I couldn’t put it down until I had turned the last page and even then I was crying out for more. I can’t wait to dive into the next book Crimson Thirst in The Huntress Bane Series.
I recommend Tainted Hunter to all vampire fans with lots of action and lots of vampire killing.
