Best Read for New Families Dealing with CHD
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 7, 2019
As a parent of a daughter born with HLHS in 1985, I fully understand the questions and worries of a new parent learning to deal with the news from their pediatricians, that their child has a very serious and life threatening condition.
The shock and heartache of it all is absolutely unimaginable.
This book is a collection of heartfelt stories from Mom's who have faced this crisis. They've poured out their concerns, fears, love and hope within these pages of this wonderful book, Heart of a Mother. A must read...for every parent and grandparent out there that may be facing that long and winding road.
Know that you are not alone and find answers that you may be seeking.

I love this anthology so much and am learning a lot about CHD. These stories written by heart moms are heartbreaking and inspiring. Although published 20 years ago, it’s still very relevant today. I love that the author hosted book studies each week to bring the heart moms together again to share their stories of fear, pain, joy and hope. I cry reading the stories and I cry at these book studies hosted by Baby Hearts Press on Facebook events! As a heart warrior I can only imagine what my mom went through to fight for my life!
