Beautiful

I love this book... The plot twists, the magic system, the imagery is absolutely stunning. Add in a stark attention to detail, the bonds forged between characters and wonderful depth and you've got this book. Outstanding! I would highly recommend this to any loved of high fantasy.

Skye Light was such an amazing book! The heroine faces many issues that are understandable, and while there are twists and heartaches, she cares about the world as a whole. I’m loving the story and can’t wait to read more of A.R. Maloney’s works!

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Skye Light is about a girl who has an affinity for magic. She lives a simple life with her mom, until sentinels come to take her away from every thing she ever knew to join an army because of her magic. She moves to a big city and learns to harness her power, even has a romance, as she prepares for the adventure of a lifetime.

I love fantasy books and I really like the story because the writing style transports you into her world. I love how descriptive she is about the setting, characters, and even the food. However, the story is very fast-paced. It’s just the right amount of description. I also enjoy the banter between the characters.

I would recommend you giving this book a read!
