Mianca and Isaiah had the picture-perfect marriage until uninvited guest surfaces at their 10th-year vow renewal. Everyone started to see that the grass wasn't greener on the other side. Mianca's life is then in turmoil. The event makes both Isaiah and Mianca reflect on their relationship, starting from the beginning. Lies and secrets are revealed. But Mianca's true strength is put to the test when a secret about her sister, Mia, is revealed. Will her heart allow her to walk away? Or will she stay true to her vows and remain with her husband until death? Love, lust, secrets, and betrayal are ahead in the unfortunate events of Mianca's and Isaiah's life from the beginning.
Mianca and Mia had a love hate sister relationship. Mianca thought her sister was jealous of her but she wasn’t so when she seen Dante out in the club and decided to take pictures to rub it in she actually pushed Mia into the arms of Isaiah, the guy she liked. Mia ended up pregnant by the guy her sister was in love with but decided on an abortion. Mia told Isaiah to give Mianca a chance and he did and they got married and was happy until Sade came in and tried ruining their wedding. Sade has Isaiah 10 year old son and dropped that bomb after she ruined their vow renewal. Glad everything worked out for Isaiah and Mianca
Good read! I almost gave up hope when it came to Isaiah and Mianca. Although she wasn’t originally who he wanted they were good together. She had her ways that I couldn’t stand but she soon learned her errors. Mia had her moments when it came to Dante but at the end of the day you can’t help who you love. The only downfall to the book is I would have loved to know what happened to their brother and also how exactly Mia was led to being in a coma. Things were mentioned but now completely explained. Other then that the book was good.
I have read a few books from Kevina so I knew what to expect from this book. Starting off I already knew what was getting ready to happen and that includes drama, drama and more drama. Mia and Mianca meeting Isaiah at the same time, would eventually turn into more than just issues between all of them. Mianca played herself right from the beginning. I knew Mia and Isaiah was going to hookup eventually. Was kind of surprised at the end, but it worked for them so its cool.
This was a great book. Isaiah and Mianca have been through alot in their eleven years together. I don't really understand how they ended up with each other cause when he met Mianca and Mia he was really checking for Mia. Then being he smashed both of them and only gave Mianca a chance because Mia asked him to. Sade needed a real beat down. Isaiah just kept letting her suck him in. I'm glad he finally got it together.💌💌
That was definitely some crazy drama at the wedding sade is off the hook for that how you going to wait so long to tell somebody they got a child that was way too long and then saying she wanted to trap him again she is something else I tell you I see she learned her lesson now though..ns Mia and something else too you knew your sister liked that boy and you still sleep with him just nasty mianca is good cause I couldn't talk to him after that..this was good
A good read but the title threw me for a loop. I figured Mianca would be fed up with Isaiah’s crap and leave him but I was glad to see they worked it out. There were quite a few errors and mix up in the names. I love the bond Mia and Mianca had. They were there for each other through the good and the bad. Was kinda wondering what happened to Mia and why she was in a coma though. Over it was a good standalone.
This was an ok read! When I first started reading the Prologue had me hooked because it was really good. Once I started reading I just couldn’t get into the story! There were quite a few mix ups with the characters in the storyline! There were also a few gaps in the story as well! As a reader I would have liked to see the author go into a little more detail on certain scenes!
I'm glad Mia & Mianca's relationship as sisters were strong enough to through everything that they went through especially when it came to Isaiah. Isaiah & Mianca endured some ups & downs but they got through it all. They both did wrong to each other. I'm glad didn't nobody get killed after all that. I really enjoyed reading this book.
I must admit this page turner was was excellent. I really wasn't feeling the love between Mianca and Isaiah because of the the circumstances but I quickly got over it. The love between these two was so strong I connected. Sade was really being trifling but karma will eventually find her. Great book and great writing.
Kevin's Hopkins you can toot your own horn on this book. What I like most it wasn't the typical urban novel. The story line is consistent and never strayed away. I enjoyed each character and what their presence added to the story line. This has been added to my must read list.
Enjoyed this book and it’s characters. The relationship between the sisters was epic. Wasn’t sure how they’d work through the Isaiah situation but I’m proud of them. Mianca really owed Mia a bunch of thank you’s. Sade thought that she was going to walk away with the prize( Isaiah) but only left stitches. Great job
I enjoyed reading this book although there was some name mix ups during the story that I had to go back to make sure I was following along with the story. Good read but at some point I kinda felt like the story was more about her sister than Mianca at points of time. But I'm glad they was able to work it out in the end.
I had to.just quit reading this book,.the characters names were constantly mixed up,the storyline was mixed up.and out of order.to.the point I just couldn't take it, i.can understand a few typos, but my goodness.it got worse with the characters having the wrong name, smh !!! Waste of money, y'all need to.do better with the editing🙄🙄🙄
This book was crazy good... I mean the stuff that went on in this book had you saying are you serious right now? I really thought Isaiah was going to do the same thing again with Sade but he couldn’t which made him honorable in my eyes ... this was definitely a page turner and very interesting...
Great job. This book was well written and kept up the drama. Mia and Mianca remind of lot of siblings I know. It was good to see love prevail. See a couples make it even when they shouldn’t have. Kevin’s gives haves us a great read
I was confused at first because I have to read the first book cuz all these names babies and ex husbands came out of nowhere. Great read entertaining. I laughed cried and cussed alot. End the end real love always prevails.
This story was okay but everybody cheated on everybody the whole book up to end. What’s even crazy is both sister sleeping with Isaiah and mianca stilled married him. Sade was just a fool in love her popping up at the wedding was dumb
The drama loved it Mianca & Isaiah stayed together & I'm glad that everybody was put in there place this was a good read it definitely keeps you wanting more
I loved how Mia and Mianca got along! But man that secret threw me for a loop! But I’m glad they’ve were able to get pass that! For a minute there I thought Isaiah was gone.. Drinking and fighting can really hurt someone.. Great read!!
It was good but Mianca was making me so made she was doing the most. I am glad Mia got to her happy place. I can't believe Isiah but at the end he grew up. Sade was just nasty i swear he should have left her alone. I am glad Dante finally learned his lesson.
I liked it I really did! I will say these sisters can keep a dang on secret lol. Sade smh. The only thing I wish she had touched on more was Mia and what happened to her because I was confused about that. There was some editing issues other than that good
This book was full of ups and downs and real situations. Its amazing how ppl can be so damaging and damaged and still get thru tough things . I really appreciated this book bcuz I'm facing some of the same things.. thanks for this book 4eva greatful
This book had great characters with lots of real life issues that they over time were able to overcome . It was a page turner from beginning to and a easy read.
This story was 1 truly built for the strong. I don't blame either of them for sticking it out leaving is the easy route staying and making it work is the hard part.
Sade was definitely a woman scorned to have cheated on her dude the entire friendship and then decides to flip out years later...I'm glad they were able to work through all of their ups & downs
