It was the second book I was reading of the 11-tome collection "Haunted Canada". This one gathers tome 4, 5 and 6 in a big, chunky marvel of spooky ghost stories. I have to salute the storyteller talent of Joel A. Sutherland. The author has a great attention to detail and describes each story with passion. If you like things that go bump in the night, this is for you. All stories take place in Canada, in each province and territory. I deeply enjoy this kind of stories. However, on some of them, the author spend much more time on historical facts that on the actual ghost stories. Somehow, it breaks the rhythm.
No need to have read the precedent tomes to enjoy this one. It has over 100 stories : from the haunted theater, to the classic haunted hotel, but also roads and swamps. Enjoy!

It's an excellent addition to one's bookshelf, especially if you're into spooky stories that contain a little bit of history.

Good book. Great stories. Some of the writing was a little weak in my opinion but a good collection of scary stories based in Canada!!
